            oops!! sorry for misquoting
btw i think monsoon time is a bit tough on the bike ..u knw the grip of tvs tires is not that gud in wet conditions ...well i had an issue with tires and they have told that they will get it replaced as its under warranty period...also i had told them about the gear shifting being very tight(which is common RTR issue ) and sometimes sudden gear back slips happen during acceleration...they told that a new set of part is about to reach and once it reaches they will replace the existing one with the latest and that too completely free of cost...hmm sounds gud

I am enjoying ambiance from rear brake sound and continuous rear suspension sound...creeping me out. And in rain I never tried to corner at speeds greated than 20-25kmph....
To be precise, in-spite of having MRF tyres pulsars have same traction.
and about fazer, hehe, they are much more skid happy because of not having deep threads in tyres.

wheel rim becomes hot? or the tyres become hot?

tyres become hot cause of friction.

                        • Drama of Variyan TVS Pune

                          Hi Guys,
Although this is not the relevant thread to post a bike purchasing experience, but I chose this thread as I had started it, requesting people to give their inputs in selecting a bike.
I bough RTR 160 HE from Variyan TVS in Pune on 24th Jan and am still trying to get over the pathetic experience i had. Here is a sequence of events that happened -
                          1. I selected a Grey RTR 160 HE from Variyan showroom on Baner road.
2.Bike registration took more than a month, despite repetitive requests and me escalating the issue to TVS area manager.
                          3. Bike color was wrong on the bill, and I had to shell out some bucks to traffic cop for that. (When I told this to Variya their approach was very casual about it).
                          4. As I was new to this bike I wanted to have a manual of the bike so that I can get to know about it. It took me 2 months to get a manual from him. Note that Variyan TVS is just at a walking distance from my home and I used to follow up almost daily.
5.It has been 5 months and I am yet to get a smart card.
                          6. I raised a complaint about Variyan at consumer complaints here -http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/variyan-tvs-baner-road-pune-c518235.html
After a week their manager calls me and shouts at me that why did you post this????
7.He did not provide the orange rings that we have around the wheels of the bike. I was not aware of this, when I saw others Apache then only I got to know what was missing in my apache.
                          8. HE has a new feature - service indicator, it blinks when the bike is due for service. Mechanics at Variyan were struggling to reset this indicator and after trying a lot they left it like that. Now my indicator blinks everytime I start my bike. It also reminds me of the pathetic service provided at variyan whenever i start my bike.

I am planning to make a call tomorrow again to get my smart card. I am feeling so bitter now that I decided to write this post so that others do not get into this trap.
For all the points above his answers are very casual. Please beware of Variyan TVS.

                            As said earlier.

Tell him that if he doesnt work properly, you'll take up this until his dealership is cancelled. He will $hit in his pants

7.He did not provide the orange rings that we have around the wheels of the bike. I was not aware of this, when I saw others Apache then only I got to know what was missing in my apache.

You mean Rim Tapes? I didnt see it on the new version of Black, grey, yellow RTR's here

Simple, when you switch on your bike keep pressing the two buttons until the service light goes off, restart it,it'll disappear

Some Apache Hyperedge do have rim tapes built-in.
