@terrordrone.... dude,i was asking rpm, when u start ur bike first time in the morning...
reason is....i am getting lot of cold start problem.
i always kick start the bike first time, but it doesnt start.only after giving a good race along with a kick starts the bike, but again switches off with a mechanical thudd sound.
important thing is the rpm.. i checked the rpm and it was 1k. it remains 1k for about 5-10 mins in the morning.
since the rpm is ECU controlled isn't it supposed to be fixed at the actual set rpm(mine is set at 1300)... always.
so this is the reason i want to know about other Fi idle rpm in the morning

the cold RPM of the Fi is around 1000-1100 Rpm it stays there for a good 5-8 mins then it settels to a steady 1500RPm....
dont blast the bike after startin it.....i dont use kick in my bike(i removed it) it gets started at the first self in the morn......
just warm it up for 1 min at a constent 3000RPM and it wont die down....The Magician"

like renny pointed out.. it starts out lesser and then settles a bit higher..

the RPM always varies between cold engine and a hot one weather its a injected engine or a carb one......same happens with the clutch play too, it's always less when the bike is cold and gets increased when the bike is hot.....Originally posted by terrordrone View Posti was referring to the idle rpm when we start in the mornings..

never set the RPM in the cold engine set it when the engine has reached its operatin temp.....
for Fi set it to 1500RPM......The Magician"

in manual it is said to keep the idle 1.4K, however whenever any one will visit sc, the guys over there will reduce itOriginally posted by rennycornelius View Postthe RPM always varies between cold engine and a hot one weather its a injected engine or a carb one......same happens with the clutch play too, it's always less when the bike is cold and gets increased when the bike is hot.....

i was just wondering if there is any other process of modifying the rpm other than the screwing ??
