well........................

my 4 months old 3300kms done FI has a dead battery.....

i woke up in the morn went to the bike to warm it up,switched the ignition on,and i found the sound of the fuel pump very diff....
when i thumbed the starter it wasn't workin......

the bad part was i removed the kick the day i bought my bike,i dropped the idea of "dhakka" startin it as i thought the fuel pump may be workin with DC supply only....

so i finally put back the kick and i started it, it got started in first kick and Whoa!!!!! with the "zoonk" of the alternator the battery started workin again.....but when i switched the bike off and tried the thumb it.......it was same old story.....

hope TVS guys replace it under warranty cuz there's no make in the battery as TVS put a big black lable in the place of the name..

the RTR will easily give you 55 with easy hand on the throttle....

ride it all day on the highest speed you can manage......

it'll award you with its amazin handling.....

replacement would be highly unlikely...

batteries had been a sad story with all my bikes. They all had 1 yr warranty and they die immediately after the warranty is over.
For a change my discover battery went dead 1 week before the end of warranty..and the exide guy said its just a charging problem and charged it. went dead in a month. Now running on Tata Green.

thinking of taking my bike to the local castrol bike zone for the next service, which needs to be done like NOW! lol. Is it worth it..over the TVS SVC..cause ive already changed the oil a few 100 kms back and i dont want the SVC guys to give me grief over it..

also guys there seeem to some sort of oil leak....oil dryin up on my chain cover n the rear wheel sprocket....wen i tried to clean...its a thick muck

its no oil leak. just the oil used to lubricate the chain. Dont worry.

My RTR is now a days giving less than 40kmpl. I have changed the Engine oil to catrol power1 bike had become smoother at high RPM's performance also improve but sound from the engine has increased. The service center is also unable to do anything.

When you take the bike, they also are supposed to give you a warranty card for the battery. I had to get to get the batterty replaced too, thankfully they had given me a warranty card.

Hey, can anyone publish a picture of the spark plug tip of his bike which is already used for 100km after last service. Today found some carbon deposit around the plug tip and the circle area, even the white chimney is also getting brown. I always get confused when Reading plugs.

Secondly it is about 1500km I am using the ELF Moto4 GOLD, and today found that it still in good condition and hope it will last for another 1000 km. Engine become very smooth and noiseless after using the same even the gearshift become sweet & accurate. Its a very good engine oil for RTR, its better then TRUE4, Power1 & Motul 3000 in my view.

i think mine plates are gone.....
i'm hoping that they'll change it.....

i found the warranty card tucked behind the battery with no entries on it.....
thankfully it was done in the owners manual........

Sprocket Changed

Went to sc yesterday, and changed my sprocket 44 to 43, found some little difference after driver 80 kms today

1st initial pickup has reduced a slight, a slight power blank in 70-80 kmph, highest speed increased more than 5 kmph, and vibration reduced because of low rpm, i did 121 with a pillion at 10K rpm...is it OK ???

Hey Psycho, thats good man. Wanted to do it but u bettered me. Do u find a major difference in the gearing or is the change so significant that u cannot notice it at all?

Anyways completed first service. The bike and my bro were treated with royalty it seems. They did nothing but changed oil, checked brakes etc. As soon as he came home the bike was already rattling and felt noisy. I was planning to chuck the TVS TRU4 and use the MOTUL 5100 mineral 20W40. Used it and the bike was actually feeling very smooth. Nothing more to report.

did the sc guys told you to put a different oil ? here in my place when i asked the sc guys to change the oil to other than tvs one, they said that warranty will get void if i did it
