These TVS guys are experts at getting people pissed off. I call up the service manager from today morning. He never picked it up. He finally picks the phone by around 4 PM and gives me the same old reply.... "Fuel pump out of stock. Replacing tank alone is useless"
. I said, "I know that and that is why I want both to be replaced together". The guy swears that he is actually at the TVS office, Mandaveli and were talking about issues cropping up in Efi bikes and the non-availability of spares. He had put forth my case as a primary example it seems(as if its something to be proud of
). He has asked me to call up tomorrow morning by 11 AM. If there is no proper reply, TVS higher officials and auto-mags, here I come!
P.S: Looks like TVS still has not woken up to xBhp like Yamaha etc.Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Can you share these higher up officials email ids, so that we can also put our problems forth to make everyone else's case strong?
I tried their contact us links for many issues and replies were just like hell as if they don't care to change the product or whatever they had done is the best.
"Looks like TVS still has not woken up to xBhp like Yamaha etc."
Didn't get this? Is yamaha care for posts on xBhp or listens to xBhp or did they improve because of points on xBhp? I seriously doubt this.

I am trying thru a few sources. Will share them if I get thru. For now am thinking of paying a direct visit to the TVS corporate office.Originally posted by chauhan_saurabh View Post^^^

EDIT: Check this link - http://www.consumercomplaints.in/com...se-c91834.html
A few mail IDs are given. [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
I do not even know if these are valid IDs or what posts these people are in. But I somehow feel its worth giving it a shot.
Yamaha knows a lot about xBhp. Mr. Sanjay Tripathy himself made that quite evident during the R15 championships. The ASCs may know nothing but the Yamaha corporate guys sure do.Originally posted by chauhan_saurabh View Post"Looks like TVS still has not woken up to xBhp like Yamaha etc."

Probably your bike is running lean or there is a leakage from the exhaust valve(unlikely). Tuning the carburettor would solve your problem. What mileage are you getting, presently?Originally posted by Puneet1 View PostHey guys while while riding and changing gears above 5k rpm sometimes theres a Phut sound from silencer and also this noise comes when leaving the throttle completely after reaching say 5-7k rpm . what is the issue ???
@aparajith
A step in the right direction was always awaited.Good to see that you are the first one to give it a serious shot.

^^The first step is the hardest! The guys from the company need to understand that they just cannot be laid back about ASC's just because their product was good. Let me see what I can really do about this!Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

There are a lot and trust me a lot of Yamaha Sans here
Yamaha scouts xBHP like nobodys business... infact to tell you a very funny incident... Yamaha knew about a problem I faced with a certain TVS showroom which they recently converted to a Yamaha one... Why they know it and all is a different story altogether.. (Sorry Mr.Yamaha, I am still sorry for that)
Then again even Bajaj is very keen and 'updated' with events here.... TVS seems to be pretty ignorant about this, cause TVS never even bothered to reply my emails even for the issue mentioned above!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more
