Guys guys some serious problem here plz help me out. After the second service I wasn't satisfied with the Accleration,Power as well as the smoothness so checked the SVC guys they said your chain was tight and just oiled it
,after that it was somehow better. But even after that day I ve done at max. 200 kms and still the bike is loosing it,and the gears are feeling damn hard and sounding loud too
.My bike has clocked 3950km approx in near about 2 months.
The next service is in b/w 5000-5500kms so can't wait till as I am feeling as if I am pulling a "bullock cart".
SVC guys say coz of wheeling this problem has evolved
but guys m not doing any more I am just practcing Rolling Stoppies now onwards
.
@Joel Sir please help me out.

Brake and Clutch levers
The brake and clutch levers are made up of Aluminium alloy. As most of us wud be knowing, Aluminium is a soft metal, such that it wears with rubbing of our hands onto an Aluminium item (try rubbing on Aluminium wires). The discoloring occurs due to reaction of Aluminium with the sweat (containing salts). To avoid this, I had used following things:
1. PVC tape
2. Heat Shrinking Tube
3. Cotton Tape.
PVC Tape gives way too early due to weathering.
Heat Shrinking Tube atleast sets to the shape and last longest, but still, due to rubbing, it sometimes tend to slip.
A good quality Cotton tape holds long, grips better with fingers. I use TESA Tape...Yes....
I'm still Alive...

Why not wear gloves for riding the bike.Originally posted by indianz_alive View PostThe brake and clutch levers are made up of Aluminium alloy. Summer's "knockin"......
off late i've noticed tht my bike is knockin more than usuall in summers whn i put it in sun or whn it runs 10-15kms....
it generally happens whn i give my bike a surge forward...(i'm always in right gear and at the right RPM so no high gear or low RPM are causin this...)
anyone experiencin the same....

guys! need some pointers.
I am going to give my Apache for a much needed proper service. The bike is almost 3yrs old. The alst service was ages ago. Just did a oil change then.
Present condition:
The Engine is noisy. (ok..noisier than usual
)
The front suspension is horrible.
Front disc is worn out.
Battery is out of charge.
Gear shift has become very tight.
Slight steering wobble. Also the front tyre had uneven wear.
Headlight out of focus.
The head(?) is leaking oil.
So my question is, when going to give a 23k km, 3yr old bike in bad condition for service, what are the things that I must keep in mind? Also the reason why i pointed out the present faults is that you guys can help me point out other related components which need to be checked.
Thanks in Advance!R.I.P kriss.

misfired as in? that cracker kinda sound?
First time hearing about the loss of acceleration after misfiring. Misfiring usually comes in due to various reasons like old plug / unburnt fuel etc.
RTR refresh means your plug is new.
Sorry pal, cant help u on this much.
Are you starting your bike these days in morning with choke kya?All new Royal Enfield 'Tripping' ads here -->www.bhp-india.blogspot.com
