^^^ I have seen pulsars with apache disk. Even I am curious how much changes are needed. I think we need to change fork legs, caliper, disk.

All Fi owner's discussing about "The Missing Problem",But someone please throw some light on actually what is "Missing" and how it is caused?

the "missing" part of FI is like whn the engine behaves it's not gettting petrol (like we ex whn bike goes to reserve from main while riding), in the 1500-3000 region....

why it's happening........????????
it's prob shared by injector unit and the ECU....

and still not solved as many owners replaced their injectors and still it shines strong.......

we have learned to live with it........

which philips bulb did u get?

i had face this when was using fi. svc changed sparkplug cap. and it went off.

try replacing magneto assy.

i changed 3 plugs including the iridium and it still persists.....

I didn't said sparkplug, its sparkplug cap.

Guys can anyone help me out here. Im really perplexed as to what to do: I want to install HIDS but its seems the battery will get discharged so ill have to add another coil. Running a higher wattage bulb would mean conversion to DC and running without the pilots and the number plate bulb. Finally i could just stay stock and live with the dim light. Please advise guys. Is there someone in Bangalore that is really good with electricals?

Dude, I remember installing a "BRIDGE RECTIFIER" in the A.C path of the headlight will not discharge the battery!! This entire theory and process is in DC headlights thread!!!

Just switch to philips white light lamps 55/60w, add headlamp relay. the bulb will cost u 600/- something and relay abt 150/-. half of the HID cost.

where do i procure the headlamp relay?

i know 5 more FI's other than mine havin the same prob....
cant be the spark plug cap.....

i will say the sadest experience in my life time is today(14.06.09) sunday. I went out in ma fi, while travelling, i stopped it for a while, then i tried to start the engine it gave up, self, kicker nothing ...was trin for more than half an hour nothin worked out. then i switced on the ignition & heard there is no petrol pump sound comin which use to come when the ignition was on. i got nothing to do now,,, then litreally pushed it for more than 8 kms to get it back home,,,,for almost 3 hours...

i tried callin up the servie station guys no response (though they work on sunday), still its the same condtion & not starting,...i dont want to leave this i cant push the bike again to service station, guys help me out what can i do shall i file a case in consumer court or call the svc guys & ask them to visit my home & rectify my bike.

suggest me something im really helpless & dont want to trust TVS anymore cox we never know when it will give up hands...thank god i was just 9 kms away frm my home....its reall shameful when you pull your brand new bike on road.....please help...it will be really grateful if i can get some contacts of TVS people..

Dude, I do understand and it's really sad for a new bike to be pushed and we all know how it feels like!!!! Ok, By u filing a case aganist TVS or its service centre guys will never work and i personally feel like inviting trouble to ur Doorstep!!!! As done by you, the Bike will be confiscated for a detailed examination and stuff and i dont know how long will it take to solve. Rather u can be cool with the service centre guys and explain the real trouble that ur facing with ur bike. Afterall they too are humans they would definitely understand. I think this would have helped you atleast by 5%. Do keep us posted and let us know the update by tomorrow!!
