Same thing happened to me too guys, though on an analog P150 tacho. Shaking in the 4-5k rpm band. This is due to loose contact at the sockets or weak slightly cut wire or carbon build up in the tacho wires. Check up those wires carefully. Open up every connector socket there and tighten them down. There are three wires, one from the tacho to the CDI and two more power supply wires.Originally posted by kk_RTR View PostYour biking tells a lot about the person you are!

Show this to the SVC guys and ask them to fix it!Originally posted by SARAB_FI View Postapart frm tht missing character

same problem persists in my case too the tacho needle fluctuates aggressively, initially it fluctuates when i rev my bike above 7k now it is being fluctuates even on 3-4-5k rpm.
wht would b its causse? is there any leakage current flowing in elctrical systm or the earth fault is a culprit!!!
whatevr, it just decreases the feel of real blue speedo!!!
They simply replace the entire assembly
Ditto....same thing happened with my 1st and second speedo. Have'nt faced it with the 3rd till now!Originally posted by kk_RTR View Posti have faced the same problem...
currently ia have a 4th speedometer console unit on my bike
it works fine only for a couple of days aftr installation but then da whole thing starts again..
A small favour. Whenever u go out somewhere and when ur bike is idiling just open the throttle to abt 75% once and hold it like that till the rpm reaches 9-10k. see if its reachs that point. At times the needle gets stuck at 5k and drops to 0 even when the engine is running.
This was the prime reason why my 1st and 2nd speedo was changed.
I dont face any of this issue with the 3rd speedo.
Damn! i got competition nowOriginally posted by kk_RTR View PostSatish has been here since quite a long time, whereas i am a new entrant...

"touchwood".....
the silencer is a sealed unit unlike pulsars which can be opened...Originally posted by psycho28 View PostI will be putting my 10000 km report on next servicing which is on next weekend (mine a carb version)
btw whats with the misfiring issue ?? i saw the servicing guys doing something with the silencer (rather cleaning it from inside or whatever) to a bike having the same issue..i found the sound to be sweet
i wonder how he was cleaning it from inside....

i mean maintain the RPM at 4500 fot about 5 sec and rev it to 11000 with tht "jhatka" effect...like satish said
i did this twice and thrice(while moving) and the tacho needle is smooth since thn....
i thought u are running the 4th one.....Originally posted by onlinesatish View Post

Today returned from neral-pune-satara nad back trip, clocking 578kms in all. I replaced original headlamp with philips, costed 155/-. Though 35/35, Its much brighter. Rode bro's Fi after 6 months. i found that it takes a lot of time to cross the region between 6000-7000 rpm. I never faced the prob with her when i was using it 6 months back. There's lot to it other than saddle....

Hello Friends.
Got my bike "first serviced" .....
Three complaints i had asked to rectify during the service.
1) Hitting Sound from the front dome cover or front fork.
2) "ZZZZZZZZ" sound from rear disk while braking.
3) Tight both the mirrors as the mirror stem has a freedom of rotation of 360 degrees.
Bike came back after the service with all the three complaints pending.
Only one good thing is tht they changed the oil to castrol activ 4t in my presence.
Curretly i got it serviced ( or in better words, water serviced) at SJB TVS.
Can somebody from coimbatore please suggest me a good service centre for TVS over here?
