Indicator is DC. No. plate bulb most probably AC.

        • Off late I am facinga weird issue. When I am accelarating the bike suddenly gives a mild jerk & then regain accelaration, earlier it wasnt regular but off late it seems to be getting regular.

Could it be dust in Carb? or fault in sparky?

Not possible with any bike(i.e) Pulsar <-> TVS, TVS<->R15 etc. As a matter of fact, the R15 is incompatible even with its cousin the V-Ixion!

@techno: Jerky power delivery. Many reasons - Dust/deposits in carb. Fuel contamination, spark plug, clogged Air filter.

            • Thanks dude, actually its not jerky power delivery, its like you start accelarating & after 100-200 meters you get a slight jerk & then it regain accelaration.

seems to be related to the fuel supply to the engine...
dust (contaminated fuel) may be the culprit...
check out n clean the fuel filter n the carb...

check out the spark plug too...

                • Guys...

What is the ideal distance travelled before changing the transmission oil, given the riding is pretty hard but no stunts are performed? I'm asking this because when I checked the oil(TVS True4) it looked to be in decent condition after 1000km, but I have felt a bit more heat near the tank region a couple of times (Even after very short ride of 5-6km)...

                  • guys....

noticed a continual squeaking sound coming from the bike today at low speeds and after making a turn. My rear brake is making its usual noise after startup but then it settles down; so ive ruled that out. Any of you guys noticing this problem? the 5th service was complete bout 2 months back.

                      • Character is back !

Ok, the damn vibes are back. I'm midway between the 4th and 5th services. guess i need to get the nuts & bolts tightened.

There are horrible handlebar vibes between 5k and 6k rpm. so much so that after about 5 mins i need to take my hands off and scratch the tingling feeling out of my palms. and of course the pillions still complain of similar levels of vibe in the footrests between 6.25k and 6.75k. and the fairing's buzzing a bit too now.

after 7k everything seems to be fine. every friggin time i say to myself, ok why not go slow(er) for a change, the damn bike keeps egging me on to take it past the ton. she's a nasty little babe the fi.

Add a taller gearing, courtesy sprocket to the above list!

                              • Hey guys would it be advisable to switch to the 180's 17 inch rear along with the 180's sprocket ? Or would that just mess everything up ?
