  • ^^ Suggest me how to convert my 8000km old RTR from AC to DC, mainly my moto is to lightup the pilot, meter by direct batery power, Head light is not requiered, but if possible it will be bonus.

Secondly found my parking lights are much dimmer then the current version of pulsars, any idea about some good white light for pilots. I saw satish's post regarding LED in this forum refer to page 13, but till time could not able to do that.

Some idea on this will be highly valuable for me, By the by anybody have the circuit diagram for the RTR.

Do not convert the AC stuff to DC. AC to DC convertion is not so easy and the current alternator will not support and produce the required power to keep running everything with the help of the battery. To convert the AC pilot lamps into DC, just plug in a rectifier circuit good enough to provide you power of 4-5W for each lamp.

Once you have the rectifier circuit for the pilot lamps, you can plonk either the LED's or the normal bulbs.

Try visiting any of the big service centers in your city, they will have a blown diagram at the service bay area. click a pic adn print it

      • Thanks Krishna,

if i will go for LED for the pilot's considering the wattage as 1.5 watt each=3 watt, led display maximum use 5 watt, rear tail light .5 watt, Rear stop lamp 5 watt.
Total: 13.5 watt, a 12v battery can be easily handle the same, but think I need to put a relay in between.

        Please put your comments in..

the alignment seem fine..the culprit is the rear mudguard...

no i faced the same prob when my bike came brand new i saw the rear tyre same like that........

the prob is in the chain setting and yours is definately out...match the lines on the left to right which are at the swingarm.....

if they're not equal your chain setting is out and that reflects your tyre not being in center....rush to service station and make sure the setting is right and both the marks on each side are equal otherwisw it'll eat up your sproaket.....

                              • Can I fit the 80/90 Zapper FS of the R15 onto the Apache 150's stock alloy with no fitment, handling or leakage issues?

If that's true then the R15's rear tyre also would fit onto the Apache 150's rear wheel correct?
