    i dont think the oil's gonna make one hell of a diff in bike's CHARACTERISTIC weather it's mineral, semi synth or fully synth.

    BTW i'm tryin hard to get sprinta but it's real tough to get it here in indore.

    • Enquired at innovative TVS for BS-29 carb of RTR 180. Its Rs.3611/-.
      Anyone interested in buying RTR160's BS-26 carb?

      Got to convince parents for buying 180's carb.

      cost of 180's main jet and needle jet is 178/- and 92/- respectively.
      There's lot to it other than saddle....

      • power one RACING

        yester day my fi crossed 8500kms. i serviced my bike.one svg suggested to use castrol power one RACING oil (see pic)for my bike because i am doing stunts reguraly,so its good for my engine he says.it cost RS:750 .its realy worth or not.their is no difference in perfomance compared to tvs true4&power one only cost is too much .shall i stick to power one or back to true4?

        @Renny, onlinesatish,Samul-Fi pls everyone tell ur suggestion.

        • power 1 racing is a fully synth oil, petronas sprinta, mobil, motul would be serving the purpoes the same way, i'll suggest you to change the oil at every 1000kms (mineral and semi synth) if you're into stunting too much.

              avoid tru 4, and as you'll be changing the oil at 1000kms no need to use fully synth too, use YAMALUBE (mineral or semi synth), power1, motul, mobil.

                • Today morning replaced the chain sporket kit with Fi cost Rs.936.00, ride is in the smoother side. Also replaced the sporket rubber dumper for Rs.50.00 (local) original not avaliable. Could not able to find the ball racer kit for RTR which is approx Rs.371.00, yesterday a local shop give me a same kit for Rs. 180.00 and told me that its local (Delhi made) but comes in original packet and stickering, you cannot trace the difference with bare eye.
                  But my fuel service is dropped to 35 kmpl, with lots of black carbon deposition in plug, so talk to TVS zonal head, who supposed to depute one SE for this problem soon. Let see what in the card now. Finger crossed.
                  BTW my 2008 Feb RTR is only complete 17605 km in odo.

                    @remortr

                    I have'nt used CP1R till now, but my exp with castrol tells me not to. Always priced higher for what they offer. Tru4T aint that bad too, my bike has run on tru4T for 80% of its life till now. have'nt faced any issues coz of it. if ridden sanly it will stay good for even 3k-3.5k kms!

                    Best bet, try getting petronas sprinta 5000T fully synthetic. Damn good oil for the price!

                      Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

                                God & TVS knows only, it got stiff & tight when riding, though lubed properly & the front sporket was bit worn, also it was makin lots of sound.
