Hmm, that is exactly how the Y used to perform on the cbz. I guess these new-fangled sticky compounds works wonders on a dry track, but in mixed conditions they're iffy. Especially in kharghar, where the roads are superb but absolutely littered with dust and mud and all the other crap the construction lorries keep dumping at every corner. I've had enough close calls to think about enduro tyres! j/k. Pretty sure the Q will work pretty much the same way. It's not just the compound, but the tread pattern and a lot of other factors which i have no idea about really. I guess i'm going to go for the geo, tried and tested it to the limit on the cbz, it's a rock solid tyre. Height at the rear will go up by 10mm but i guess more weight at the front isn't a bad thing. Cheers for the review anyway. For the front i guess i will go for the 220 dtsi's new zapper. anyone know the exact model of that? Satish?Last edited by julianpaul; 05-03-2010, 02:52 PM.

Even the old one was an FS, so how would i know the new model? can't really depend on the dealer they just wanna sell what they have in stock.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostThere are only two tubeless fronts from MRF for front - the 80/90-17 of R15 and 90/90-17 of the Pulsars. The zapper-fx. I don't think an upsize of that sort would make any sense.Originally posted by rennycornelius View PostYou can also go for the FZ's front tyre (100) dont know the model name though, but it's tread pattern looks very good.

Catrol power1 is a good oil for RTR, i've had really good experience with it.Originally posted by haxor View PostIs Castrol power 1 15w40 any good for RTR 160 carb? will pour it as the present oil -motul 5100 15w50 is too dense and the engine heats up pretty well .

I always like the silencer without that heat shield, now i got a guy who will be grinding those mounts for me.
then will be getting it painted black, as the silencer is whitish from many areas.
And here's a pic for you without the num plate light cover and those three holes.

Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.
