      Hey satish where are u from..? i stay in Thane(mumbai) and am still searching for Motul 10w40 or W40 oil in semi synth here in thane/mulund am getting only 15w50 in motul5100
      Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

              Do u Own EFI bike and did u faced this missing problem coz of O ring..?
              am no Teq guy but i know that Pickup loss caused by worn out clutch plates and Missing pickup problem caused by faulty Fi system are Two different things i hope am right...

                Guys has anyone noticed any werid behaviour with the clock? I am not too sure about this but I think the clock doesnt remain constant, a few months ago I had noticed that my clock was set 15 minutes advanced (i.e. at 9:00 it will show around 9:15) I thought that I had set it that much since I do set my clocks a bit ahead (but thats always 5 minutes or so), so I had reset the clock to 5 minutes difference, Today I discovered that its at a gap of 12 mins now.

                Anybody else noticed this?

                  yes i have a A160 FI and it behaves like the way rennycornelius posted. I assumed it might be because of the missing pickup problem...the svc centres, which i have gone to, have no idea what causes the missing pickup problem(infact they act like nothing's wrong) And i didnt know about the faulty Fi system....i always thought it was the O ring which caused the missing pickup problem...
                  besides, i dont know much about the behaviour of a bie. Hence i can't distinguish between the feel of a pickup loss and missing pickup...to me both of them feel more or less the same...
                  So if i get the key difference, i might be able to identify the root cause of my bike's behaviour and take the required action...

                    i dont visit often so cant comment on that...sorry
                    worn out clutch will result in harder gear shift. Also the time to reach top speed in a particular rev & gear will be long. You will feel very sluggish in pickup.

                    Faulty Fi will result in drop in response of the throttle. You may feel that the ignition is not smooth, you are experiencing "Jhatka" response.
                    Don't kbnow much about RTR Fi but I guess the problems & solution will be similar for all Fi.
                    get the throttle body checked, fuel pump delivery checked.

                      I too have noticed it, but it varies from meter to meter. 3 months back I set the clock with IST and now it's 6 minutes ahead.

                        Today Poured castrol power1 into RTR 160...the accelarator feels more tight..not free to rotate...any prob?

                            What are you doing,man. Experimenting with engine oils? Because you changed the engine oil not so long ago, right!!

                              The previous oil was motul 5100 15w50 and I changed it after 1000kms .Moreover the engine was heating up pretty fast and the bike didn't revved as it used to do so changed the oil and when changed the oil totally burnt I mean black.

                                Yup. Thing is, a Real Time Clock needs some kind of power source to keep the current time when the bike's off. Either a small cell or a capacitor. So the issue here is either an inefficient power source or it might just be a crappy clock in the first place with poor accuracy. Unless it's running on a quartz crystal or something that accurate, there's bound to be a slight variation over time. It's a bit annoying because i have all my clocks/watches synced to the minute (maybe even second, slightly OCD). So i tend to regard the rtr clock for what it is and only use it for an approximate indication, say maybe for the quarter.
