    • guys need some tips from u experiance RTR riders ,this saturday-22nd planing to go for long ride with kolkata xbhp members. The trip will be around 400-450 km so want to know what are the step I should take before & after the trip & what are the step I should maintain while riding during the trip i.e., after how much km it is good to stop and for how much time also at what speed it is good to ride during the trip so that i don't apply excess pressure on my RTR FI.

May be it sound stupid to you guys but need your tips as its my first trip on a bike & a bit concern about my RTR FI.
Moreover there is one problem that a sound is coming from the chain & svc guys saying that need to change the full set of chain & sprocket but my bike only done 14372 km & he says that I can easily go for the long ride without changing the chain-sprocket after returning I can change ,sooo guys what should i do change before the trip or take the chance

They could be as wrong as you could. And if you are wrong you can rest in the fact that it was your own mistake.

Anyways, enough philosophy, i had mentioned earlier that my fuel line was bent when i first bought the bike, the svc fixed it by cutting the pipe shorter. But now when i fit the new pipe, it was a very smooth bend and the molding was just perfect. And i didn't feel i could improve it by adding the maruti. I wish we could ride each others bikes and figure out if there really was much difference. Coz i'm sure half the problems we have are in our heads.

Don't worry too much about the afr and co, it usually doesn't change much on it's own. It should be checked every service though, it's mentioned in the coupon, but i'll bet you the dumbasses don't do it unless you sit on their heads.
I've only given my bike to the SC twice and i bet he only did the thing i gave the bike for, once for the injector change and another for the battery under warranty change.

I think the AFR is pretty ok as the bike is running just the same from the day i got the new injector.

my maruti pipe has a bend too but a long and as you've mentioned smooth running one, and it gives peace of mind looking at it without that horriable bend now.

Only problem i have now is the disc brake, slight oil leakage from clutch cam and slight woobling!
Clutch cam oil leakage indiactes a gone "packing"/gasket.
        Slight wobbling???????
        alloys prob may be.

Almost all gasket, packing oil seal's execpt fork oil seal were changed in the last service. Clutch, pressure plates were also changed. So am damn sure they have changed the cam seal as well.

Either the gasket has to be fulty else there might be a minute crack somewhere. had replaced the magnet cover in last service for the same reason.

Woobling problem has been there in my bike for the past 30-35k kms. I got used to it now. But the problem does'nt seemed to be solved even after replacing 4-5 tyres. Almost everyone says the alloy is in good shape. no bents anywhere.

still wondering what it could be

Your clutch plates lasted really well.
I thing the weights at the alloy are the culprit, get them checked.

                Hello ,
1> Chk Oil Level and condition Before leaving
                2>Chk tyre Pressure
3> chk for indicator and Tail lamp/Brk lights are working (as its Very IMP If ur riding in Group)
i think u shud change Chain sporket Kit as its only costs 936Rs+labor . And if u wana Njoy your ride to fullest then dont take any chances..hehehe

About Journey :- 1> U can Go easily up to 125 kms NoN-Stop (as i've done 220kms non-stop max riding and often i do non stop 150kms ) but since its Summer i'll suggest take brk around 100-120kms.
2> and for RTR Efi i think 80-90kmph is the best cursing Speed .
3> Kindly Ride with all Riding Gears Lots of Water and always Ride in your own Comfort Zone that's It
Its not enough to know how to twist the throttle; you must have judgement to know when and where to do it.

Do you eat/sleep/bathe/youknowwhat on your bike man? My almost 2 year old bike has done less than 20k.

Alloys, i don't think they can be balanced like steel wheels. Weights could be added here and there, but that's about it.

without seeing the wires i can't be sure but if your horn is with a relay then it might be the stock wiring thats now not connected to the horn but to the relay . do you hear a click sound when pressing horn button .
