i'am thinking of doing the same as it's a regular affair with TVS, order anything and it takes years to arrive.

      • Rear tyre change to tubeless

        Hi guys,

One of my RTR 150 owner friend wants to change his bike's rear tyre to tubeless ones. Is there any size from MRF or other companies for tubeless?

        I think the tyre is 100/80 18"

        Thanks...

            Ps.
had a talk with the showroom guy yesterday too, the rear numplate light is still out of stock.
What is the GC for the FI? Isnt it 180 for all the RTRs? I never had a problem with RTRs GC.

but since my stock battery become dead m facing issues like bike getting switch off at start n hiccups in first few metrs.
does it something related to ignition system as fi possess transistorised control ignition( TCI) which is feeded directly by battery power( according to wiring diagram of fi).
therefore, there is something going wrong with ignition system as battery power is less than 12/13V and i guess TCI unit is not getting a enough input power to perform efficiently( production of sparks at desired timing)[/B].
is there any techie guy who can pour in some inputs regarding above.

i had problem when i came across oodles of mud,(as i'am running without the bellypan it gave me added benefit )

                ZAp Q is not tubeless.

                @SARAB:

Didnt knew 180 is lower than the 160 man.
i thought they both are the same in GC.

                      • Ok, Satish, I had change two times also and now I need to replace the Clutch plate again. But today morning my local shop offer me Rs.331.00 for the same Apache Clutche plate. The Box looks same as it should be, the price mentioned in the Box also 331.00.
I hardly remember last time when i replace those plated it was approx Rs.650.00.

Do that fellow keep the duplicate one, any idea how to trace.

                        • Think it mught be only the friction plates. i changed it as a set and it was abt 1k approx. Just enquire who is the OEM supplier for clutch pltaes and check the box of the one you are getting it at the local shop. if both are same...then just go ahead! AFAIK A150 and RTR plates are diff!

                          • One question: How long do the chain sprocket kit last on ur bikes? Mine has done 18K+ and it has started to wear out and make noise. Time for change.

I know the old Apache is 13 - 43, RTR is 13 - 44. Does anyone know the configuration ont he RTR 180? Front sproclet size and rear sprocket size?

I have changed the chain sprocket set twice. 1st set lasted for abt 24k kms and second one for abt 17-18k kms. Now am on 3rd set, have done abt 9-10k kms and its already half worned out.

RTR 180's rear sproket size is 46T. not sure how much is it up front.
