    Turbo could be installed and it will work. But turbo will work efficiently only between certain rpm. If you cross that, you will have to increase fuel rate to engine. How will you do that in carb engine?

    On youtube there is a video of turbo installed in 220F and dont know whether there was any electronics or not but as shown it was working well.

    Turbo on a carb bike? Might not be possible. You need electronics to turn on turbo at some rpm and you need to be able to limit its speed electronically at higher rpm’s. If not turbo and piston are toast.

    I doubt it is possible, if yes, then there would be some extra gain in power and torque specially at the higher rpms.

    If you are taller than 6 feet, you might feel riding posture to be sporty. Else you can ignore this.

    Mount rear view mirrors to handle with some jugad. Done.

    220 is freakin reliable even if you don’t religiously maintain it. You need to take care of engine though.

    Hello everybody, I had come across this thread is because I would require your inputs on the following.

    I currently own a CBR 250 ABS (2013) model and unfortunately I am unable to find the parts nor the mechanics to keep it running, therefore I am looking for alternatives.

    At that time of purchasing the CBR I too had the Pulsar 220 F Dtsi as an option, but given the Honda superiority I chose the former.

    Now I had the following queries;
    1. I commute regularly from Bangalore to Bombay on the main highways and occasionally on the ghat areas. So is the bike reliable for those distances( considering all maintenance is done). And does the windscreen offer adequate protection? Or are the legs exposed?
    2. Is the bike easy to live with? Availability of parts and mechanics? Even in the most interior towns and villages
    3. About the rear view mirrors, I understand that they may not offer the best view but are they adjustable on the go? I have not seen those mounts before.

    You could try getting the fuel float serviced. Sometimes it gets stuck due to adulterants in Fuel over a long time. That might solve your problem for a lot cheaper than getting the float replaced.
