    Good Luck.
No sir,the sound reduces while riding.
Will it require complete overhual to fix?

Please Copy this link into your browser and listen the sound of my karizma engine
It is creating a thud thud sound on idle
Some say it is crank bearing and requires engine overhaul.
Some say crank is very strong of karizma it does not get damaged,it would be timing chain tensioner.
Bike has done around 30-35 thousand kms
One time half engine work, usha piston installed.
Average 40+ and pickup everything is proper.
    No white smoke from exhaust.
    Please give your valuable inputs.

To find out block the INSIDE of the vacuum hose coming into the Aircut off valve , and keep it connected. Better still replace air cut off valve diaphragm and install. Now check for problems...if problem continues then check for throttle slide being sticky or worn out .
    Good luck.

My engine is creating dhud dhud sound on idle, which reduces when moving
    What could be culprit
Some say timing chain tensioner, please tell how to check it.

Some say it is crank bearing cost 10k complete overhaul.

I have checked vacuum hose, no block found inside.

I am able to open air cut off valve cover. Found diaphragm is not in good shape(Not Sure).
Attaching some pics of diaphragm and carburetor

Sir, which engine oil is good for 2004 model karizma?
Now I am using hero 4T plus 10w30 engine oil.
I read one of your old post. In that, you mentioned 20w40 engine oil is recommended for karizma till 2005 model.
Kindly help me on this too
Hold the diaphragm against light and see if there are any small holes..if there is any you may have to change it...Regarding the Engine oil Shell AX7 is good...similarly the Shell Rimula R4 is good. though it is a Diesel engine oil the viscosity and additives are helpful in maintaining good engine cleanliness and keep the moving parts well lubricated... I am using it for more than 3 yrs with good results. Since it is a Mineral oil you may have to change it in 2 k Kms.
