Wow - you got it cheaper than mine..!! :P

The bar ends are screw-in types so easy to install. However mine was broken and screw part was stuck inside the handle bar which I was not being able to remove. So I got it done at service center. I am not really sure how they managed to remove the broken part but they did it somehow. YMMV though.

You are going to have a tough time finding this spring plate..!!! Service center will tell you that you will have to replace the whole caliper because that spring plate does not come as separate spare. But I think it is definitely available from Honda but no service center stocks it.

I say you have 3 options:

    1) Directly order a spare from your city's main Honda Spare Distribution Center. If you live in a small city/town then tough luck cause a central spares distribution center may not exist at your place.

    2) Find a damaged dazzler from somewhere and take the part from the damaged bike. Might sound ridiculous but I have done this once - "borrowed" a few parts from a dazzler which was in an accident and was lying in Honda Service Center and written off by insurance.

    3) Live with ghungru noise - I know exactly how that sounds like!! :P :P Let's just say that one of the mods of this forum has this exact same ghungru music coming from his bike!! Right Divya Sharan ??!!! :P :P

Unable to bear this sound, i even changed the chain sprocket set. However, the problem still persists and i feel very uncomfortable...... Please help me out guys..
I am facing this same trouble from last 4000 kms as well. I am at my wits end to what the problem is/could be.

Let me describe the problem first - there is a chain grinding noise heard and felt when I close the throttle and the bike decelerates under engine braking. The same noise is also heard when I am releasing the clutch and engaging any gear. However there is no noise when the bike is under acceleration/constant speed in any gear. There is also no noise when I press in the clutch or the bike is in neutral and simply coasting down the road.

Basically everything is ok with the chain - it is clean, lubed, chain slack is fine (not loose, not over tightened) and both sprockets are also fine. No play either in any of the sprockets. Chain and wheel are aligned properly. I am not changing chain-sprocket set because I know that will not solve the problem.

My guess is that there is a bearing problem inside the carnk-case. Basically the shaft to which the front sprocket is attached - that bearing has gone bad.

Till date every mechanic that sees it says - chain is dirty/dry therefore noise. But that's not the reason.

Now a days I have changed my riding pattern to suit the bike, basically the moment I let go of the throttle I clutch in and brake using front+rear brakes. I dont use engine brakes. Also at times I do clutchless upshifts so I dont have to engage/release clutch. And whenever I use the clutch I release it quickly to prevent the grinding. I never half clutch the bike.

Basically I am living with this for the time being.

But as soon as I find a solution I will let you know by posting here or by PM'ing you. If you find a solution let me know as well. Thanks.

phat17 had out in 110/70 - 17 on the front. He said it was without any mods but I am not too sure. You can put in a 90/90 on the front without any mods (have not done personally but have seen on someone's bike) but your speed & odo measure will change slightly.

The battery is a sealed unit so you cannot top up any distilled water as you do for lead acid batteries. However the battery can be recharged - just go to any honda service center (place close to mine charges Rs.80 for a recharge) or go to any battery shop near by your place (a exide dealer near my place does it for Rs. 100/-).

How u fit that 120x80 tyre
Even I am running 120/80 Zapper Vyde on my rear wheel. Direct fit, no mods. And nothing touches anywhere - everything is perfect.

it was a direct fit no mods , why did u go for 110x90 its not wider it only increases the height of the tyre

Has anyone tried the Michelin Sirac rear tyre on a Dazzler? The reviews seem great, but I'm in a fix as to whether I should go for tube typed tyres.
