  • Stoner stormed his way past jorge and pedrosa later.... feeling bad for dani tho...his arm gave up...and still somehow managed to be in the podium...
No doubt hondas are fast...jorge managed a best possible result for yamaha....
spies rossi battle was intresting...spies outbraking himself....and running wide...simonceli too did justice with his factory honda ! ! !...

Dovi was dissapointing..he cld have challenged jorge for a all honda podium ! ! !..newazz it was a nice start to the season...awaiting for some thrilling races ! ! !
Nothing feels better than to gear up and burn some rubber ! ! !

      • IIRC Spies ran wide once and not multiple times.

On the 2nd time, when he ran a bit wider (relatively) he got the better of Vale.

I am sure he must have felt intimidated while overtaking VR, its natural.

        • Interesting when Rossi gives excuses for his shoulder everyone buys it but when Pedrobot tells his reason of suddenly becoming slow, everyone is bashing him for giving "lame" excuses...
Pedrobot was genuinely disappointed (as seen in the post race conference) and it was clearly visible from his race pace that something was really wrong. When Stoner overtook him for the last time Stoner pulled up a gap of over one second within the same lap which wasn't normal at all.

Seeing Rossi jumping from 9th to 2nd in first corner got me real excited but alas

Super ride by Stoner. Hats off to him.

And knowing pedrosa over the years...he will be the last guy in the grid to give any lame xcuses ! ! !
I first got an impression of his tyre issues....coz he and stoner seldom manage their tyres ! ! !

Dani really had a problem on track. was pretty evident.

              • Honda basically bought the championship this year. Poached the best talent, and probably spent triple what any other manufacturer did on R&D, and have over twice as many bikes on the field as the other teams.

I mean- they are great bikes... but when you have an unlimited budget it kinda fails to impress me when you win. OF COURSE you're going to win if you can spend whatever it takes. Just like Ferrari in formula one for the longest time.

OF COURSE you're going to win if you can spend whatever it takes.(but it didnt turnt out for them since hayden...ducatis and yamaha are no leeser team..they have too got the capacity to spend like honda....) Just like Ferrari in formula one (Well things have changed in F1 for quite a long time now...ferrari is feeling the heat for quite a long time now..since 2008...to keep up in the field...)for the longest time.
Of course money matters in motorsports...its a very very costly affair to run a racing team..its part and parcel...but most importantly its the direction you head..and honda seems to have got their direction right..unlike Ducati ! ! !

I'm not sure about Motogp but F1 surely has a fixed budget that the team can spend on the sport inorder to maintain equality among competitors.

Considering there is no limit to the budget spent in Motogp..Honda is way beyond any manufacturere on the grid. Yamaha may only be about 60% of the size compared to honda and ducati would be lower (i think you can imagine)
The point on the "direction" is absolutely right. but you've got to consider the number of people working for the same objective at honda is way more than the number of people even available at yamaha or Ducati to think for the objective. This is wher money plays a big part. no one can afford great minds free of cost
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

The point on the "direction" is absolutely right. but you've got to consider the number(ok...its not about the "quantity" always..its the quality..and if u have 1 person in ur team who have the vison and skills to direct u..u dont need a 100 MIT graduates to work wid u...One classic example - Adrian Newey of Red bull racing ! ! !) of people working for the same objective at honda is way more than the number of people even available at yamaha or Ducati to think for the objective. • Dude...i'm always game for a discussion because i don't believe I know everything, but we can all clarify and come to know actual facts about the sport and clear our perceptions.

But the way your presenting your points, you don't seem to be thihnking that way. Now where did Football come into discussion of motorsports?

Anyways..You enjoying forcing your points here while I'm out of this discussion.

Now where did Football come into discussion of motorsports?(u picked up my last of all the points I have mentioned ! ! !....ok i apologise for the diversion I created in this context...but u can still consider rest of the points ! ! !)

And by the way I never mentioned...money isnt important ! ! !...but it cant always be THE deciding factor to win a championship ! ! !

                            newazzz.....we still have no idea...who gonna win this championship ! ! !

                            • Hoo.!

Ah! Cassy the Dessert Master wins Qatar. who did not see that coming. whats the thing about Ducati and Honda spending more or less. both have a long heritage in racing.

how much is rossi getting paid any idea guys??

Sheel i will disagree with you but agree to you. I am sure we both know Stoner is a talent and he won it hands down, just like he wins every year in Qatar except last year when he let go of the front. Honda have a very strong line up of talented guys. so do the rest. but the best man won.
