Tweet from Alex Briggs:
Jerez on motogp calendar till 2016Everybody is asking me if we are happy with the weekends result...... No & yes. No because first place is always the target. Yes because The rider is still healing & put in some good laps. Longest run he has done since shoulder op. We have a good bike that can be great. The bits & pieces that will make it great are not in the parts draw yet. They will be as the season goes on. So basically you saw a rider who's body is letting him down but on the mend, his desire is unquestionable, on a bike that will get better in big steps. You do the math! I can't spell but I know what that all adds up 2

For a moment i thought he is going down but the master did wonderfully well to cling on to the bikeOriginally posted by xionite View Postbringing in the new...

On stoner pushing hard evry time..no doubt...coz thats the reason he use to crash in 2010..whn he was applying loads on the front brakes beyond its limits..to brake as late as he can..and ultimately the front used to give up....Originally posted by samschenker View Post
i guess..we stand a chance whn our rear fishtails or give up at times....but if its the front...very tough to hold on the bike.....
wrt this pic....if any body notice Ben spies riding....u know..he is the only guy in the grid.....who use to lean the most..while riding the tech3...so as to aid his cornering speed ! ! !Last edited by pritish; 03-24-2011, 02:45 PM.Nothing feels better than to gear up and burn some rubber ! ! !

This is known as "Perfecting the Art of Counter-Steering" on a motorcycle. The MX / Flat Track - derived Racers are too good at it. With the HRC Chassis its got a better chance of sticking to the Tarmac than those CF-Dukes. No wonder Casey is exploiting this trick to the max.
Cheers - TZ750.

See Doohan doing the same on the HRC Repsol.

Sure, Casey races as if fractures are repairable in a day or two.
But he somehow managed to keep himself on his bike!
But Guys, Why did Sarath Kumar end up with a "Did Not Qualify"?
I couldn't see the 125cc race, so I don't know why that happened?---

"Sarath though failed agonizingly to make the grid, missing out by three thousandths of a second to meet the FIM’s 107 per cent lap time rule to be eligible to start the Grand Prix" - zigwheelsLast edited by pritish; 03-25-2011, 10:13 AM.Nothing feels better than to gear up and burn some rubber ! ! !

Wayne G,the Wollongong whiz, on Motogp Round 1
Waynes Weekly
^^ explains why Dani suffered last year towards the race finish. And why we see racers doing a lot of dirt track practices..I know that Dani suffered from some pretty severe arm problems towards the end of the race, but I can’t help thinking this only added to the problems he already faces due to his complete lack of dirt track experience. On the larger bikes he’s always had issues when it comes to dealing with worn tyres during the closing laps, and it’s something he’ll never learn to overcome. It’s a technical shortcoming that needed to have been addressed in his early teens. I’ve spoken with him about it in the past and he agrees that it’s definitely a limiting factor.Last edited by prabhubravo; 03-25-2011, 10:29 AM.
