How quickly Spies ran towards the bike as soon as he fell to switch it off. With engine limitations, can't afford to have any damage eh?....

OT: looks like today is a bad day. Rossi had a bad qualifying after a good start yesterday. and in cricket it looks like Srilanka will win the cup.

      • sad about Rossi's 12th.

well done Lorenzo. he's gonna do do well tomorrow.

        Edwards' crash acceptance was hilarious.
and Stoner really loves his Honda. he "crashed" at about 5kmph.

              • Rossi takes Stoner down.. The marshals pushed Rossi's bike to start after crash.. But left Stoner alone.. he is sure gonna be angry!.. Spicy weeks ahead
Edit: Simi goes done! Drama continues...

                  • Looking at it I was saying to myself "No no no that's not the line/speed, it is too soon for Rossi to overtake Stoner" and bam! it happened...
Poor judgement by Rossi. It's a shame that his extreme good start will be overshadowed by this poor decision...

                    Funny tweet from MotoRaceFeed:
"I think Rossi forgot he was on the Ducati, not the Yamaha, when he tried that pass on Stoner and slided off #MotoGP"

Apologies by Rossi but no kind words by Stoner which is understandable:
"Ambition outweighs your talent"(or something like that)

                      • wow. that was the eventful.

Rossi kinda got payback for the Duc front end.

                        sad to see Simoncelli down.

                        Spies going down was worse.

                        Well done Lorenzo.

                        • I did not see the race. Just saw the motogp website and it shows Rossi finished in 5th! I'd say if he finished 5th after having a fall then it's great. But what exactly happened?

yea. he crashed... his front folded. (taking Stoner down with him)

track marshals help Rossi push start his bike and get back into the race.
                            (but completely ignored Stoner)

                            Stoner out.

Rossi works his way up from 17th position to finish 5th.
(Spies, Edwards crash out from podium position)

                              • ^^ Yes,it was all wet and scary for riders there..Every second lap you had a rider going down. Some came back(Rossi) and others didn't (Stoner,Spies etc.)
You should have seen the tread of those wet-tires..I am just flabbergasted the way these guys were pushing their bikes..Great riding/racing.

Lorenzo was just brilliant up front..Hayden was lucky enough to find a spot on podium too as he kept grinning till the end of the post-race press conf.

Bummer! No one talks about Pedrosa. He's not that bad a rider..
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!
