Mugello will be the first bright n sunny track this year.

he's always delivered when it comes to surprises.
    Mugello won't be any different.

    • DuCati + Rossi+ Mugello.

This was suppose to an ultimate combo,
But looking at the results of the previous races on gp11 and gp11.1 dampens the excitement I had(or many of the VR46 fans).

Anyways, Rossi's never to be counted out, can be full of surprises,I would be praying for SiC to .... you know what (kiddin )

This situation seems to be more intense at this race than Assen.....

(Any news on the improvement, stats or Rossi review??)

      • ^^^ Other the Tyre Controversy nothing else these days.

Bridgestone had offered softer tyres for the race as the existing tyres + the cold weather were causing troubles (whole season till now).
But only if there was unanimity among the riders/teams for using them. Apparently Everybody other than Honda guys agreed to use softer tyres. As the term aptly coined Big Bad Honda
But looking at the race and the result should they regret the decision? Sic could have challenged Spies if not win the race for Honda.

        • i am also a hard core rossi fan, it pains so much so see-what he is going through. race after race i keep on praying and hoping that results improve and rossi can bounce back to his winning ways, but that just didn't seem to happen.

i have started to loose hope and there are thoughts that it might be the beginning of the end of his career-- just like shoemaker

            • Edit:
Although everybody reads it on the individual sites still posting another interesting article from motomatters.com:

Randy Mamola Calls For Compulsory Rider Meetings In MotoGP | MotoMatters.com | Kropotkin Thinks

If this could be implemented fans would be discussing more of race track incidents rather than off-track ones.

I am in favor of this. Racing should be racing not a reality show

Things are not simply going The Doctor's way

Not good news and how will effect VR46 at most important race of year for him? RT @motomatters Just heard from Ducati that Jerry Burgess won't be at Mugello. His wife is seriously ill and undergoing medical checks. Best wishes to them!
Edit2: Further news on the above:

Rossi's crew chief at Mugello will be Max Bartolini, Ducati tech director

Thats ok for me I guess, one race doesn't matter. Its ok if Rossi doesn't perform ok, reason being absence of the JB.

Gud Wishes for Mrs.Burgess, hope she gets well soon

                        • ^^ He is a silent killer He can very well do that. Just 9 points behind Whohey

If not this year, for him to do a Nicky2006 he needs to be in the factory team and I feel as long as Alberto Puig is there, Dani would be preferred over Dovi.
This was very clear from last year when he was only given his factory seat just because of the clause in his contract and not because of his performance (to finish in top five through the first half of the season or something like that)

Stoner is going no where hence he has to outshine Dani in every race from now on. Who know in this process he might just achieve the ultimate goal

Edit: PS: did everybody read the three part article by Dennis Noyes regarding "What's missing in current motogp"? If not here are the links:

I do not dismiss Puig being a dominating factor but Dani has consistently outpaced Dovi more or less and that helped deciding the no.1 rider in the team..., and Dovi would have to perform really really well to be a factory rider next year...

I personally would love to see a battle of team mates...Casey and Dani, Jlolly and Spies.

                            Awesome articles...Speez...

                              Thanks for sharing

True Dani is faster. But I think he has got too many chances. It has been 5 years for him in factory (since 2007) being either 3rd or 2nd in the championship (whatever might be the reason), time for a change?
