    Really honest thoughts.

True Dani is faster. But I think he has got too many chances. It has been 5 years for him in factory (since 2007) being either 3rd or 2nd in the championship (whatever might be the reason), time for a change?
Great article by Speez. Nothing fancy, plain straight man as far as I can see.

The Dovi interview and his say on Media highlights only those who do something different/unique/eye-catchy is somewhat true though. I mean he is third in the running for the championship but I haven't seen much media attention on him though.

Also, I totally agree with him on the electronics and also agree that its 99% impossible. But it would certainly pave way for more heart-in-the-throat moments. And of course, an equal chance for everyone till the finish.
RIP Marco Simoncelli! You will not be forgotten!

Dani had a lot of chances...but as long as he is fast..he would have a place in the factory...going that way even stoner had 3 unfruitful years in a factory team..., It would take somebody faster to replace him....and that could have been marco simoncelli if not for the Dani accident etc...

On a similar note, I feel that it is time for Capirex to hang his boots...and let somebody younger ride at his place...

also I would love to see how Bautista does on a better bike...that guy was pretty impressive on the 250s

Yeah I too feel it is time for Capirex at least from MotoGP (Checa and Biaggi still kicking in WSBK).
Bautista probably shot in his own foot when he signed up for Suzuki instead of his 250 class team i.e. Aspar Team only because he wanted a factory ride. Ducati was and probably still a career killer (see RdP, please don't shoot me for saying this ) but if we see Karel Abraham, he is doing just fine on it being his rookie year.

              haha...nice one...kinda uncharacteristic of Dani..

maybe Capirex should go and kick some as* in WSBK now...

I too thought about RdP....he had a disastrous season so far...am worried if it goes like this he might not make the grid next year....hope both RdP and bautista get good rides next year...

Ducati indeed is a career killer(800s particularly)...case in point hayden nd melandri...both are quite capable but got nowhere with Ducati....Melandri already showing his talent in WSBK...

On a different Note, nowadays am watching 2009 WSBK season(whatever am able to find)...saw simoncelli's debut...executes a hard move on Biaggi..., Biaggi goes off track and almost takes Spies out while rejoining...was horrified at the impact it could have had on the championship..., the move itself wasn't that bad...i.e. taking out kind of...he pushed his way on the inside, but the results could have been ugly...,

Racing like that makes it interesting and gets good results for the rider, but it come with its own risks..particularly when an innocent rider pays the price...very fine line between riding dangerously and racing sensibly.

On a serious note...this weather is bad for Rossi..he needs as much track time as possible

                            • Qualifying not over yet pal.
                              FP1 and FP2 happened today.
Tomorrow is FP3 and Qualifying with race on Sunday.

FP1 mostly had the action with Sic fastest and Rossi in 13th position due to electronics failure on both of his bikes.
FP2 was useless with Dovi going fastest among 5 riders who came out on track, as Rossi said. Too dry for wets and Too wet for the slicks.

Reported heated argument between Lorenzo and Sic in the safety commission.
And Dani refused to shake hands with Sic in front of media. Things are heating before the race
