    • I know
But not going to comment with just one race win.

Winning at the cathedral of Moto GP is special and that too so convincingly. No iffs, no butts.

Bridgestones were soft..which means they need longer to heat up. Add to that the fact that the weather conditions were dicey..so cold. And lastly, it's assen..a right turn biased track. The place where he crashed was the tracks first left hander. The left part of the rear tyre had never been warmed up until then and yet Marco was pushing. Like Jarvis said..one has to be more prudent in such conditions.
I love Marco..he is the fastest for me..but he has already brought Dani down and we see the price Honda and Dani are paying for it

        • Binocelli has to understand that, You don't win the race in the first lap but you sure can lose it.

          • From motomatters:

This was Spies' first win, and the first win on a dry track by a rider other than Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner, Dani Pedrosa or Jorge Lorenzo since the 800cc era began back in 2007.
shows a lot about the domination of the 4 aliens...

            • First up,SPECTACULAR performance by Spies! We are definitely in for a closer season Thank we think!

No SurpriSE from Stoner,he did what what was expected!

Dovi did a very good job!

and Sic was just too SICK! He needs to chill and find his inner peace!he is being too reckless and careless!he should know better that this!He is continuously knocking on the door of a BAN ! Look at Dani,he is still suffering!

I Dont really like Lorenzo, but i gotta admit that He did a very good job to come back from that crash and to bag some crucial points!

Rossi was just Okay!Nothing really happened with the GP 11.1!Am a HUGE VR46 fan.Hope something good pop ups for the next race!

And am really waiting for Dani's return! We need to spice things up further! And Dani will surely deliver, unless Sic takes him down again!

                  • In other news Elena Rossell couldn't start her race in Assen because of not taking part in qualifying due to major damages to her bike.

                      Cheers!

Championship is too far from him now but I am hoping he will kick some ass in coming races..
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

                      • a better finish by ducati and rossi, thanks to the number of crashes, but frankly speaking, i didn't see much improvement due to new gp11.1 instead of gp11, all rossi was doing was holding its place and did very few overtaking and once the places were set then nothing happened with respect to top 5 or 6 order. may be rossi is not pushing it too hard because its new and he had less experience on it...but atleast in top 3 would have given some relief to rossi fans.....during the final stages, i was hoping that somebody from top 3 crash out so that rossi can make it to the podium.

                          • The Honda of Casey Stoner will be the bike to beat in Mugello! I would be happy if either Hayden or VR snatches a podium.

                            • May be long shot but somehow I feel Simoncelli will take Mugello win
Sic on home turf for the first time on an all powerful bike and already proved his prowess...

As far as Rossi is concerned he knows the track like the back of his hand. Would love (and pray) to see him fighting with Sic.

                              • Whoever wins, provide a nail biting entertainment, please

Have gotten sick of seeing someone going round & round in circles. Why aren't the heads at Moto GP doing anything to make the races exciting?

For entertainment purpose, the other racing arena rocks, yes, please do not point out the obvious talent, glamor, tech part, if you can't provide enough entertainment, then why race and waste talent?

BTW, Honda owns this championship & may be the Moto GP title winner too for '11

(Shall I remain prepared for flames)?
