It might even be some kind of omen, if you are that way inclined. The two occasions that sessions were canceled were at the two races where Valentino Rossi was using a brand new chassis for the very first time. Assen was the race where Rossi switched from the GP11 to the GP11.1, and Aragon was the race where he switched from the carbon fiber chassis to the new aluminium front section, tested previously at Mugello on the 2012 bike.

If you were the superstitious type (which Valentino Rossi most assuredly is), you might even begin to suspect that Rossi had run through his allotment of good luck. Rossi's luck is legendary, the Italian always walking away from crashes, always being able to pick the bike up after a crash and continue racing, rain falling at the most opportune times. Now, it looks as if his luck has turned: just when he needed a break, to get to run the new chassis back-to-back, the fates (or chance, or whatever it is you happen to believe influences these things) intervene, leaving Rossi stranded, and on the back foot again. He and his team have a whole heap of work to get through tomorrow, their hands forced by the random chance of the magic smoke escaping from a transformer at Aragon.
I hope his patience, perseverance and determination pays off.

    Few good pics:

                • Awsome pics guys

I think rossi wouldn't use the 7th engine.(has he already used it for the WUP?)

The weather is stable, and his pace is kinda ok for the race... :|

                  Just my opinion,nothing else

                  Edit:
P.S:- IF,stoner doesnt win today, I know whats his reason gonna be

                        • MotoGP Aragon: 'We have fixed nothing,' admits Rossi
                          18/09/2011

Rossi is still at a loss and says maybe they don't understand the real problem

                          By David Miller

Marlboro Ducati's Valentino Rossi has admitted this evening the new and much -vaunted aluminium chassis has fixed none of the problems he has been having this season and they may have to go back to the drawing board once again to understand their problems more clearly.

Rossi came from a pitlane start to finish in tenth place during today's Motorland Aragon MotoGP race but instead of having difficulties with front-end grip on corner entry, Rossi's rear tyre started to spin on lap two and was 'destroyed' with eight laps left to go when he was re-passed by rookie Cal Crutchlow.

"It was a difficult race, we expect have a bit better pace and I lose a lot in the last eight laps as I have a lot of problem with the rear tyre, maybe something wrong happened with it, the tyre was completely destroyed at the end and I have to slow down because I had a lot a lot of vibration and it was very scary to ride the bike. Already from the second lap I had an amount of spin that didn't show in the practice," said The Doctor, speaking to bikesportnews.com.

"With the right rear tyre we could not be fast like we expect or like we want. Already from the second lap I had an amount of spin that didn't show in the practice. We are still working in a lot of different ways, start ing with the things that need less time but it looks like we don't fix a lot we continue to be quite slow apart from some good races we are not constant and it looks like we don't fix the problem so we have to concentrate to work hard to understand exactly the way to work for the feeling with the bike because I am not able to be fast as I want or ride like I want.

"We are worried about the rear grip here because if you look, Nicky was 25 seconds faster last year than this year - this is the bigger question mark. The feeling with the front is not so bad. I am quite good in braking and entry but I remain slow in the change of direction and rear grip was the main issue all weekend. It looks like after a lot of races we don't fix nothing so maybe we don't understand the real problem."

I like both Marquez & Bradl..., confused about whom to support...may the best man win..., now the championship is marquez's to lose...
also there is a big noise about Marquez getting 2012 parts from suter i.e. special treatment

                            Some thoughts:

About the doctor: Now either I would prefer him to try harder and win or crash rather than coming in at 10th and being overtaken by rookies..., ride like casey maybe-the situation/ducati demands it....

About Casey: if he continues like this I see him dominating for years to come (provided honda doesn't screw up hugely with 2012 machine)

And Casey-HRC/casey-ducati combination proving again that the rider matters a lot, I doubt that Dani/Dovi would have won the championship if casey wasn't there, maybe casey would have won with last year's RCV,

and I uselessly dream that what if Vale was at Yamaha...how would vale-yam stack against casey-HRC...

                            • We can almost copy paste this for all the races this year
Rossi: "we're still not where we should be. We're working on several fronts, with short-term solutions that haven't been conclusive, and others that are longer-term and that I still hope can bring more substantial improvements. We'll see what they think at the factory. For now, we're still pretty far, and given that time is our biggest enemy, we'll continue also working on development during the races."
