Read this yesterday. Imagine, Marquez and Vinales so focussed on each other, that Rossi/ Lorenzo sneak the title through. Experience counts!Originally posted by Makky View PostBiking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

For both, it won't be just beating the other but, being on the top step that matters the most. We shall see how it goes.Originally posted by The Monk View PostRead this yesterday. Imagine, Marquez and Vinales so focussed on each other, that Rossi/ Lorenzo sneak the title through. Experience counts!

I remember reading about Kevin Schwantz and Wayne Rainey. They rather be 3rd ahead of their rival instead of 2nd behind their rival!Originally posted by Makky View PostFor both, it won't be just beating the other but, being on the top step that matters the most. We shall see how it goes.

Dovi tops the first day of testing at Qatar with Vinales second. Marquez crashed twice. Folger is turning out to be one fast rookie. Hopefully he won't be crashing around in the races. His biggest weakness in Moto2.

Interesting https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/ne...ployee-884346/The main difference from Yamaha is that Gigi is at a different level than the rest of the engineers, but you just can't see that because he's completely integrated in the group. When the rider comes in he and the rest are on their knees to listen to him.
In Yamaha the highest engineers don't have too much contact with work in the garage. Dall'Igna is a much closer person and that makes it possible to solve problems very quickly.Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
The 2017 racing season is finally underway! And such silence here
Vinales destroys the competition of a single fast lap. 0.6 seconds faster than Marquez in second. The rookies are having a field day. Folger 4th and Zarco 8th, ahead of Rossi, who appears to be struggling. Lorenzo fastest Ducati, but still miles off the pace.
Moto2 is looking good again this year after multiple boring seasons. There are some fast rookies and the 'old' guys appear to 'level up' their game.
Moto3, another year of multiple slugfests!Biking is not about what you have between your legs, its all about how well you use it!!!!!!!

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
Yeah, its too silent here!!
Anyway as usual i'm so excited about the season that i keep checking the websites for information at least once in every 2 hours!!!
Vinales seems to be in a different zone altogether, knew he would be doing really well once he gets the "right" tool and he has proved it in every tests. Lets wait for the real test though! It's gonna be really tough competing with the likes of Marquez, Rossi, Lorenzo and Pedrosa in a head-to-head battle. No doubt he is going to win few races by flying away at the front.
Dissapointed with the way things have gone for Rossi but cant count him out while the lights go out and he expect to lay his hands on his 10th title with just 2-3 wins, really needs something special from the 38 yr old to beat Vinales/Marquez for the title. Lets wait and watch
Lorenzo can surprise a few but at few tracks I feel he is going to struggle. This can be the year for Baby Samurai as well, who knows!!!Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !
My best trip till date:http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/tourer/2...uke-390-a.html

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
Man of the race was Alexis Espargaro on Aprilia, almost got better of Dani to get 5th place finish!
Dovi was handicapped by its rear soft, but he did best what he could; such a mature rider he is! I said to one of my friend Vinales is one to watch and we have all the reason to watch him now! Superb race by Vinales. It was a great 3rd place finish by Rossi, its good to see Rossi settling in for third and didnt push to grab second place. I feel very sorry for Zarco, but it is what it is. Rookie season, learning the trades of MotoGP. Honda? Who? lol well they are way off-pace. They will come back for sure, they have a lot of think tanks in their garage. Pretty sure they will come back if not the best but atleast better. BTW who is missing from Honda Garage this season?
Exciting start of the season! Hope it continues!

A delayed start didn't dampen spirits for the race. Fantastic way to start off the season. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Re: MotoGP 2017 season discussion thread
Honda's performance in itself can't be ruled as one off incident. Right from factory to their satellite right now capable of filling only the mid grid. Maybe they went too safe in the engine selection this year.
On the other hand, Yamaha side looks more determined and confident, their entire four riders.
When AI29 and JLo joins the fray, it would be an interesting year. Aleix finishing nearly 7 second (just 0.33 seconds per lap) off the lead pack is an impressive show.
