Yeah right going into the semantics now when my observation was more towards the tone of the answer. He was not in the championship right after the Lap6 of Losail Qatar circuit.
One place U say U went by text and the other place U say U went by tone.. May be you heard the press conference a bit late. he is 8th in the grid and what U expect him to say!

No Sir, U read everything about motogp so you know the best. U r in web based domain so u shud know the tactics those guys use to keep the visitors glued to their site.

Also u said Yamaha wont replace Rossi, read the news in motogp? Since Rossi crash was unexpected it took yamaha a few weeks to bring in a rider, but since stoner was suffering for a few races before he took a break, a back up plan was made on time. read stoner's interview last year on motogp.com?

I never said he is better than him.. U need not tell it again and again to save ur a** dude

See I said you, ur interpretation depends on the ur mindset..

    PS:

its been the 3rd year on the topic.. looks like we wont ever come to an understanding on this issue..

Rossi's Replacement Announced : some old tester.......I don't think we can expect him to win....not with Lorenzo being in top form......Yamaha wasted the opportunity....
Yup an opportunity wasted! I was expecting Edwards though!
But if they had offered to either of the 2 they might loose the other, nice step by yamaha!

        .....
Again semantics? I don't know what you understood by "tone" here.
Doesn't matter if he is in the last place. He is a champion ain't he?
I asked earlier too; what would Ducati team feel (actually the main sponsor Marlboro), who is relying on Stoner for getting them to the podium, when he says he is not in contention for the title 'for a while now'. He is the representative of the team and the company who pays his salary, front of media/audience/etc and is this how you answer their questions; in a negative mode?
It's only five races and if you talk like you have lost it all then you really have.
There are still 13 races to go and anything can happen. A crash or two by lorenzo (I don't wish that to happen) can change the whole scenario. He can still be in contention, considering how he fought after delegated to last position. Two wins in a row will bring him right back in the championship.

Which is why I said, you get the information of what your beloved rider said and meant from a credible source i.e. right from his one to one talks with you.
We mere mortals have to rely of the media who make us glued to their website with their own version of sensationalized news.

Ahem!!! where did this topic come here?
Again it is obvious who is digressing from the subject. Quoting my post about something and talking about something else.

Which part of my comment did you not understand when I said "who is better than whom mode"? I just asked you to stop bringing other unrelated names in the picture.
And Saving my ass from whom? you? If I had to do that I wouldn't have posted my thoughts in the first place.
As I said in the initial post itself I'll be bombarded by 'Stoner likers', I expected that and it happened.
It was all to put forward thoughts and have a discussion.

Yeah I do edit my posts after posting it and I want it to be articulate because I care enough to what I post and try to make as much 'understandable' as possible.

And the bear wakes up only when his beloved rider or the bike is getting criticized here. Why is that so? Why can't the bear just discuss casually among us (as you said rats)?
As long as you adhere to your fanboy-ism and not willing to have a healthy discussion, there can never be an understanding. You don't have to come out and start posting only for defending your beloved rider or your beloved bike.

Everybody has a favorite but you don't have to brag, defend your choice.
Let the riders do their part i.e. racing, giving interviews, etc and let us do our part i.e. discussing what's happening and what our thoughts are on what happened.
You don't have to take everything personally and come out with loaded guns.
As suren said to you some pages back. Leave your fanboy-ism aside and involve in the discussion. This might be the only place where you can talk motorsports with like minded (of-course if you do consider others link-minded)

        • ^^ If U ve noted I post after every race. This race I didnt post becoz I didnt see it live and U know that I didnt see it.. I saw it yesterday morning so posted after that!

I dont see anything negative in his interview... he is eighth at championship and he shud not be worried abt who is leading whom(read the question again) instead work to get this stead up to the front.

And regarding the TEAM thing that you are speaking about! read stoners interview in motogp.com and FYI stoner shares data across all his teams including satellite teams, unlike the yamaha and hondo duos

read again! I quoted your post discussed it, then put another topic, which U had posted in the thread before. U forgot wat U posted?

editing for make in understable is different from adding new content to it, after its been replied!

and others... u ve again brought all the things that we had discussed off line... so I dont feel that again I ve type all those here...
Anyways U do the best that U r at....

And the world doesnt end at xbhp's motoGp thread! There are many places where I discuss it.. so you please come out of ur *****ing mode and involve in a healthy discussion!

Apparently it was Edwards who turned down the offer for riding as replacement.

Team sharing data has no relation to what I said about the representing your team and sponsor in front of media.

I remember each and every post that I posted but looks like you forgot how to use the forums, quoting wrong post and writing for some other post.
Yeah I'll keep doing what I do best i.e. follow motor sports with whatever means available to me and trying to discuss any forums available.

It is you who goes out of context in the wake of defending your fanboy-ism and apparently you only came out with all or none.

Yeah the world doesn't end here But you sure did made it clear what you think about the thread and the posters here especially me.
And again I am saying don't take it personally and don't make it personal to anybody here too.
And you do have a habit to make it personal with your attitude towards the discussion.

              • Woh Woh woh ! I came in to post this Michael Scott's article on Lorenzo and i have one ready here !

Who is Jorge Lorenzo? - Features - Visordown

Prabhu please intepretate this to me

In the first few paras he says racing is becoming soft and then he says it coud become dangerous !

500cc GPs were like moto2 or more harsher ! Does he want to fight like that or just have runaway vicotries?

What does he want GP to become ?

And dude its not that people hate Stoner or somethin its just how he showcases things to the public and how people take it .You would be knowing after that break he took last year he was all sweet sweet to the press conferences waving hands on the camera everything . But now he is again back to what he was plain 'Arrogant' !
Now saying that does nt mean he is a bad guy or somethin ! Its just his character ! You like it take it or just move on. Why should you get offended when someone says so ?

Chillax guys , Lets talk GP and racing now ! Hope the bear has eaten enough fish to sleep !
                BAYLISSTIC !!!!

                          ha ha.. very true..

rossi and stoner fans are fighting more than they actually do in the race

BTW I am a hardcore stoner fan (now dont come beating the crap outta me)
A good long ride can clear your mind, restore your faith, and use up a lot of fuel.

                            • Experts from an interview--

Lin Jarvis, Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing Srl, said "we have considered many different scenarios and candidate riders to fill the temporary vacant seat in the Fiat Yamaha Team. We had always planned to use a rider from within the Yamaha Motor & Tech 3 family but for each rider we considered who is in active competition, their move to the Fiat Yamaha Team would have created another problem for their own racing program or for the teams in which they are engaged. Finally, after a great deal of consideration, we have selected Wataru Yoshikawa, our Japanese YZR-M1 Test rider, to join us as our substitute rider. We provisionally plan for three races (Catalunya, Sachsenring and Laguna Seca) but we will adjust the plan accordingly when we know more about Valentino's expected date of return.

"The benefit of Wataru's presence in our team will be threefold. Firstly he brings with him a wealth of experience riding the YZR-M1. Secondly his presence allows us to fulfill our contractual obligations and to join the team's quest to accumulate points for the Team Championship. Thirdly he will gain valuable first hand MotoGP race experience in three challenging circuits which will surely be very useful to assist him and Yamaha with the future development of the YZR-M1.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense.
