  • @suren: I believe I did .
But yeah you are right. Only a win can revive his campaign. It looks really bad that a former champion delegated to the last position and struggling so much.

@kingkong: as we all know Stoner gives very candid replies whether you like it or not it is your problem . I don't

Actually what stoner said about Dani is quite true. If you had seen his crash in qualifying you would very well imagine that he'll be shaken up badly from it.
It is really amazing to see these guys racing at the highest level giving it all even after getting battered, bruised and injured on the tracks.

I don't either....., he should shut his mouth and let his riding do the talking...

I remember Randy Mamola talking abt riding the last 4 laps of a race with a dislocated wrist....still coming 4th...it was in Faster I guess....

            • @R-Series-Hope this is just a Nightmare, and nothing should happen when Rossi comes back.
Or Ducatis should be successful in bagging Lorenzo for next year, seeing Rossi injured.

I hope someone critizes Rossi abt he going to Ducati cuz its a fast machine and he is not able to beat Lorenzo on a Yamaha .

(Hope he doesnt sign up for Suzukis to prove a point ).

MotoGp news is much more interesting the the Race itself...

Just tell what happened at the start and not blame somebody from your own TEAM.

"got shoved around and pushed around"; and this is Racing Casey; not every time you'll get a clear track in front of you....
well U trying to teach him racing! .. He didn't crib about it dude.. He said the facts and what happened to him in the start.. read it full and not part by part

                  EDIT:
You know, I'm coming out of the corners, and Barbera went past me like I was standing still today, and he's on the same bike, he outdid me there.
When did we last hear a praising word for an youngster from a fellow rider! This wud be really encouraging for Barbera!

Im a die hard Rossi fan but I dont like his move to Ducati a bit. Everyone is going to blame him for not being able to beat Lorenzo with the same machine. Rossi said in his autobiography that he didn't choose Ducati as their mindset was exactly similar to the one he is trying to get rid of (Honda). It was Rossi who revived Yamaha from ashes and Lorezo was lucky to be a part of Yamaha rite away. I feel its Lorenzo's turn to prove his talent by joining some other team.

Jorge is just 23 and Rossi is 30, so stats are working against him.

                      • Just a heads up guys. The race is on Saturday!! It's Assen and customary last Saturday of June is the race day.
                        Free Practice starts tomorrow.

And I was thinking the bear will never wake up

Well, I missed the wink part because I wasn't present at the press conference. May be you were.

I am certainly not the person to teach him Racing but he does need to "learn".
Yeah he did tell what happened by blaming his team first for it. You win as a team you lose as a team.
I read it word by word but yeah you know it better as you get to know all the things straight from Stoner himself unlike us unfortunate people who get to read the text on websites and other places.

Yeah right going into the semantics now when my observation was more towards the tone of the answer. He was not in the championship right after the Lap6 of Losail Qatar circuit.

Again you don't have to go in "who" is better than "whom" mode by taking other names here. This is no comparo going on.

Was he praising Barbera or "belittling" Barbera's better race start than his own. May be you know better than us again.
Praising a fellow rider? Definitely you missed the way he "praised" Espargaro in the previous race qualifiers.

May be you missed the real "praising" from Lorenzo for a fellow rider named, Ben Spies, for taking a podium.

LOL!! Did anybody check the pics attached to the news link
Except the first photograph it is all from his M1 crash on the track. Hope he doesn't crash in the race.

This brings up with an interesting question here:
God forbid if the replacement rider somehow crashes the bike so badly that the engine goes for a toss, then will this mean that Rossi, or any rider for that matter when he comes back, will have to manage with the remaining engines considering the limitation on number of engines used? Is it per team or per rider.
Because it would not be the original rider's fault that the engine got busted, so why should he suffer the consequence?

Because it is the team which chose a wimp(if San crashes it)

I personally think the Rider shouldn't be held responsible.....but the likelihood of it being so is less.........I am sure there will be a clause somewhere in the rules about this.....

EDIT: if somehow we can get to be Yamaha's Test rider..(or any other even)......then all we have to do is perform well there and pray for the team rider to crash....any idea how to apply...??
