    No official timings released yet. Riders (especially the rookies) were hesitant to come out on the track in mixed dry/wet track.

    Unofficially the commentator Gavin told, Rossi did 1:38 (or was it lower than that) and Randy doing 1:36 something on the Pramac ducati...

        1:37.329 it is then....as reported by crash.net as well...., gives nothing for comparison then.....we would have to wait longer....

          The times are being shown on motogp.com homepage. Fastest is Dani pedrobot..

          The champion (who-hey) is already churning out fast lap times

          I noticed one more thing and that is Rossi's Duc didn't have those "winglets". Now why would that be...

                ^^^ your Doc is testing the screamer on GP10, Gp 11 and the another GP11 with the 2010 engine. so hold horses.

                testing means nothing at this stage. wait for Sepang to get the clear picture.

                    As Joel has already mentioned, Rossi is currently testing different engines on different ducatis. Right now, I believe the teams main task is to gather data and find the best way to more forward than churning out fast lap times. And who should doubt the GOAT anyways??

                      VR has a lot of feeling around to do...
                      laptimes don't really matter for him right now.

                      Like Stoner said... Rossi was prolly pissed with how the Desmo felt like when he first took it for a spin.

                        Why is it showing only HRC for Stoner in the timesheets? Is he going to rope in some sponsers other than the Repsol?

                          Someone posted a very sensible evaluation of the events yesterday on MotoMatters.com

                          "Of course all riders want to top every session of every practice, qualifying, race or test. Maybe more so for the young guns. No surprises at all with the top three.

                          With Rossi evaluating three different types of engine configuration today there is little to be read into his times. He may have pushed in a few corners to evaluate the front end but today was all about data gathering and analysis.

                          The pleasant surprise for me is Abraham turning the same time as Elias. I think even at this early stage this (and the weekend!) proves he's not going to embarrass himself on the MotoGP machine. Glad to have him on the grid."

                            @Shelton : Sponsorships start only after the term year begins ! Repsol has agreed only from 2011 for a 3 man squad. Even Ben does nt sport Fiat livery nor does Rossi !

                            @All : Dont count the chicken before they hatch ! For the matter of fact even the eggs are not layed yet !

                              ^ Moreover FIAT has not yet signed to sponsor Yamaha's factory team for 2011. With Rossi's departure to Ducati, we might see a new title sponsor for Yamaha.

                                Dont have a sperate link, but here is a pic of him riding the factory machine. I'm having great expectations of him next season, the way he rode the last race was awesome and hope to see him fighting with Lorenzo and Stoner with the Doc far ahead of these people on his Duke
