I've been watching the post race bits from the Sepang race.
must say.. really dissappointed with Lorenzo's behaviour.
- - Ignores Spies
- - Tries to ignore Rossi

- - Then ends up accidentally ripping up the Spanish flag with his rear wheel (sprocket)

- - He actually rode and parked his bike onto Vale's No. 1 spot after the race.

- - Sits down on the podium when Rossi was being given his trophy.
- - Then on the podium he even stepped up with one foot onto '1st' possition

- - Takes the champagne bottle and hurries back in before Rossi & Dovi can pop the bubbly.
It was Rossi 46th race.
special yea...
but he was all set to steal the show from mister 99...
Lorenzo was pissed.
Jorge seemed liked the loneliest boy in the boy on Sunday. Sad.

ignoring spies was bad.....he knew he was there then deliberately looked away....even the green mario pointed to him.....
Vale didn't let him ignore....persistence..
,
and whats with removing the leathers...thank God he didn't strip....
,
one of the worst championship celebrations I have seen.....

Rossi came from 9th to 1st and JLo pushed back from 1st to 3rd ,in spite of being the world champion ,Sepang was celebrating for Rossi's Victory.JLo was not only alone but seems to be frustrated of how to celebrate his Win.Poor J

I saw Lorenzo's antics, and I said out loud: Pathetic.
Its like because he lost control of his race, he didn't like the direction it took, he tried doing other things his way. Ended up making him look well.... politely I would call it 'weird'.
Sheesh, can't wait for Phililp Island. Wish the Doc kicks ass for the remaining races.
You get the point?? :D

So? Every rider on the grid lost weight when the 800's came into force. For that matter even the F1 boys lost tremendous amounts of weight so the teams could effectively place the ballast.Originally posted by suren View PostI think you are talking abt Indy ! I think SPies should reduce 10 kgs to match Dani ! I guess it was pure weight difference and a slightly more power advantage that day ! He was 0.2 sec faster than Spies every lap.
I don't know how much faster, I just know that he won the race comfortably.
Yes, Spies was riding a Tech 3 team, and you may note that he was easily ahead of the Jorge and Valentino.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostBoys, wasn't Spies on a satellite Motorcycle and Dani on the fastest bike on the grid?
Not surprisingly, once a journo commented jokingly to him--"My $h1t$ are bigger than you mate".
Anyways, what is racing all about? No unfair means and no one runs off the track. Can Dani slug it out? No.
Just see how Simoncelli races, or for that matter even Alvaro.
I have never heard/read that, but I find it in bad taste.
Exactly, racing is just that. Being fair to the other rider and not doing anything silly. Which cannot be said for Simoncelli who I feel is the dirtiest rider ever to ride a 250cc bike. So he is not a benchmark for this.
I agree that a very few riders are good at, as you sluggin, with other racers on the track. Vale being the best, there are very few instances where he has come out second in a close in such circumstances.
Cheers. All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

Don't get me started on weights.Originally posted by hirenmistry View PostSo? Every rider on the grid lost weight when the 800's came into force.
Since I got the R15, I have been desperately trying to lose some, only to gain
Hate myself.
In which ever race he gets ahead, he vanishes.I don't know how much faster, I just know that he won the race comfortably.
Weight, RCV and the ability to ride to the limits lap after lap.
Racecraft-No.
A faster (weight or lack of it) rider on the fastest bike on the grid.Yes, Spies was riding a Tech 3 team, and you may note that he was easily ahead of the Jorge and Valentino.
Dorna and FIM are to see this.Exactly, racing is just that. Being fair to the other rider and not doing anything silly. Which cannot be said for Simoncelli who I feel is the dirtiest rider ever to ride a 250cc bike. So he is not a benchmark for this.
Though he is edgy and causes a trouble to his fellow riders which I do not like.
I like Honda, but in Motorsports, nothing beats Ducati for their passion and rider commitment.

Cheers.
Dude are you a Dani Fan ?
And i m sure you must be a Iannone fan too !
OK lets put it this way !
Jorge - Dani ; Vale - Dani ; Spies - Dani
Consider all these duels on whom would you place your entire savings on ? ( Answer needed .. Don t SKIP )
I did nt put Casey- Dani because he s just going to follow him for the next 20 laps within 0.5 secs and say he tried everything !BAYLISSTIC !!!!

Well thats his style and kudos to him for doing so. Yes, that does not help the spectators like you and me but it can't be reflection on him.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostIn which ever race he gets ahead, he vanishes.

Even for the matter Casey and Jorge do this. 2007 being a case in point.
I agree that Spies is a special talent, but only time will tell how good he is. At the moment there are 4 aliens in MotoGP perhaps with Spies we can expand that club to 5.
Well thats exactly the reason why he is not popular among other riders.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostDorna and FIM are to see this.

I am Kawasaki guy, got a soft spot for the marque and Honda is a close second. Somehow I have never warmed up to the Ducati.
As of now they are putting all their eggs in the motoGP bucket... lets see how it goes. All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

Its a fact alright but it seem most ppl hold a grudge because of it, or rather the lack of it.
You are correct, I am a Dani and Honda fan and I have never like Vale (Even when he was on a Honda) or Jorge.
And to answer your questions, here goes. I am not a betting man and all my savings are accumulating (rather slowly I might add) in the bank so that one fine day I can purchase a CBR1k.

Well no one would wait for a fight, not even vale, but if thrown upon, Dani would suffer the most.Originally posted by hirenmistry View PostWell thats his style and kudos to him for doing so. Yes, that does not help the spectators like you and me but it can't be reflection on him.

It is him on a satellite Motorcycle.
Special, hell yeah, WSBK Champion in rookie season beating Nitro Nori.

(not being diplomatic)
Kawasaki yes, a lot.

I am no blind supporter but with someone of his caliber and the kind of race-craft he has, it is pretty hard not to be in awe of him.
I just wish Moto GP goes back to 1000's w/o silly electronics and or Spies/Nicky/Vale/Elias/Mc Coy move to WSBK (wishful thinking)Last edited by sheelpriye; 10-13-2010, 12:14 PM.

Perhaps! But lets not get into this. We will come back to this in the future.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostWell no one would wait for a fight, not even vale, but if thrown upon, Dani would suffer the most.
It rankles me no end that Nori Haga lost that fight, but you cannot take anything away from Ben. I am still dreaming of Haga winning the WSBK c'ship before hanging up his boots.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostThank You for your kind words.

Kawasaki yes, a lot.
I have my reasons. There is no doubting his race craft or talent. What he has achieved in his career is phenomenal and perhaps no one will come close to the number of titles or wins he has amassed.Originally posted by sheelpriye View Post

What I don't like is his attitude and the shenanigans post a race win. Same with Jorge.
I like my racing idols understated like Mika, Kimi and Dani.
Your wish will be granted in 2012 with MotoGP moving back to 1000's. I hope and pray that the racing gets exciting again and Dorna gets rid of some of the electronics.
If F1 can get rid of it I am hoping MotoGP follows suit.
