  • Guys, Any idea about the plans of Toni Elias? Is he going to get a ride next year in Motogp or is he gonna stay in Moto 2 and get another title? . 600s seems to be like a play toy to him
Young riders pick a destination and go, Old riders pick a direction and go !

Don't know anything about his plans right now....maybe he is holding all that till he wraps up the championship..., IMHO he should not stay in Moto2 anymore......either to motogp or to WSBK.....the 600s really are nothing for him..

      • ^^ I had posted a piece of info earlier from a non-english website:

        No Idea after that.
I think it all depends if Suzuki wants to field two bike team next year or not (which might be announced in sepang weekend).
If suzuki isn't then Randy will sign back with LCR honda. And Toni will not be considered.

LCR team was also thinking for two bikes team but not sure on that too.

          • Dorna Sports should really look at making amends so that privateers can afford to stay in MotoGP... they should try to bring back the green team as well.. Kawasaki.. and I miss John Hopkins so much... more than anyone who left MotoGP..

              • I miss all who left, from Ukawa, Hooper et all.

Hooper tops the list, I saw the race (WSBK) in which he on a 1000RR low-sided and another bike went over him in debris, it was slow, so he escaped serious injuries.

Would love to see him on Moto GP or WSBK in BMW garage.

Good idea man... I could start with buying their baby Ninja 250r... if the Indo-Japanese trade ties work out and the custom duty is reduced from the ridiculous 110% to something more sensible... say 25% or even 50%..

                  • Can anyone forget the super late braking or i can rather say no braking at all of Toni Elias to overtake Rossi and Kenny Roberts in one go during the portugal GP in 06' ? Wow! even though i'm a die hard fan of Rossi that was one maneuver which is etched in my heart and I regard that's one of the best overtakes in Motogp. He is a very good racer and want to see him in a good competitive team in Motogp soon so that we all could have more interesting moves to watch. Given a good bike and a little bit more of maturity will see him fighting with the top runners

surprises here are these 3. great to see 46 back to where he belong. and some spirited performance by Dovizioso there. Honda has developed by leaps and bound this season. Stoner and Honda can be a killer combination next season. my gut feeling is that he's going to be the biggest threat for Rossi next season.

BTW what happened to Nicky. hope he comes up with a splendid performance tomorrow. he's the most underestimated guy in the motogp.

I always believed honda had great engines...though the riders development had been very limited. In this season too...Honda have come out on top with their engine power and reliability

                          • YouTube - Lorenzo on the verge of title dream

Sunday will see his dream come true.
all it took him was 8 rubber smoking years.

a dozen podiums so far this year... Well done Jorge!!!

PS. Rossi's going to give him a hard time at Sepang!
