    Alot of talk about Ben, so let's talk about his season for a moment...

    Now, for the record, I am a Spies fan, and will remain so, but I don't share the optimism about his podium finishes like others...He is truly a talented rider with a great GP career in front of him, but he is yet to show me he is good enough to even hold the jock strap of any of the aliens...

    So let's review his first GP year...
    --He's currently 6th in points
    --Aside from his 2 DNF's, he has finished in the top 10 every race this season
    --He has a 2nd (Indy) and 3rd (Silverstone) - however, Rossi was out of Silverstone, and fresh out of surgery for Indy, so that puts the famous *** by those podiums
    --Yes, he has an inferior bike, but so did Rossi when he first took the Yami, so no excuses

    So anyway, yes the boy can ride...But can he compete with the aliens?...No (at least not yet, right?)

    ^^Seeing his qualifying face at Philip Island, I am a bit optimistic, can't help

            Just heard Haydo's comments, he did not complain abt any of Rossi's moves and said at this level it is expected. But he looked very very disappointed.

              The boy is a sport, I am sure he is disappointed with himself and wants to kick Vale in his balls for the move, but then he is being diplomatically correct on the record and this is where you earn your fans.

                Had Vale not made those moves the race wud have been very boring.
                Even the commentators said that the race and moves were pretty clean.

                  That is racing, fair yes, he had left a gap and it was filled in quickly by Rossi.

                  On another note, the commentators can't get enough of Rossi.

                  Simpy wish Jonathan Green and Steve Martin to pitch in for commentary.

                    hehe. sheel. you can't have sbk facilities and hospitality in MotoGP.

                    Hayden was riding hard. but im sure everybody knew rossi was not going to let him trough. i was surprised that he even got by rossi. never the less the predicted happened. so quite a boring race as usual for me.

                    like i said before. Stoner is a class above with that ducati. just like rossi was on that yamaha.

                    about spies. yes sheel. there is a lot of diffrence between a factory yamaha and a customer yamaha. period.

                    this is not Moto2 or SBK where you remember what king carlos said. the only diff with his ducati and Xerox was the paint scheme.

                    put spies on rossi's bike for valencia and watch him go.


                    IMO: hayden did not deserve the contract that he got from ducati. Alvaro Batusta would have been ideal or maybe someone like Elias could have come to the ducati factory.

                      We all know Hayden might be capable with less electronics, he is an old school rider, but a rider should adapt himself to new technologies and move on with the times.

                      I shall wait to see what Nickey is capable of with 1000cc's and hope against hope with less nanny electronics.

                          Yamaha has finally given the permission to Rossi for testing Ducati in valencia. looks like they dont want any more fairing bashing

                          Rossi again made the race interesting and today haydos showed why he is a true champion. he rarely complains and always gives his 100%. we need people like these to lift up motogp. stoner is a crybaby and so is Jlo. pedrobot is better in that sense but he is boring .

                            good try by hayden but what man this is rossi we are talking about here. the guy plays it so well all and the mental warfare from rossi is immense.just love to see 46 on a raceday.

                              Looks like Tony might have a certain seat for 2010 and with the grid numbers increasing, we might have better "racing" next season
