Watch the race today morning before going to office. It was an awesome race .

It was also good to see Hiroshi aoyama finishing tenth ahead of the 250 champ maro simoncelli..
Simoncelli is the 2008 250 champion. The reigning 250 champ is none other than Aoyama himself

It was 316Kmph for Rossi and highest was of Hector Barbera 328 I guess

If Stoner hadn't crashed the story would have been different though

Partly agree, If it wasn't Qatar I would have fully agreed

Qatar hasn't been a happy hunting ground for the doctor since 2005 when he last beat Gibernau there I guess

Anyways Happy for The Doctor, sad for Stoner. No body should crash out. If somebody has to win, it has to be fighting till the end

            • It was an entertaining race, not quite used to MotoGP having so much excitement.

Stoners loss was Rossi's gain. Perfect start for him and Yamaha. Also Lorenzo climbed up to second with a broken hand.
Ducati looks like a good bike, even the Kentucky Kid was in for place on the podium, good for them and us.

Honda seem to have a bike with a terrific top end, too bad Pedrosa is still not comfortable with the Ohlins. Why did he not switch to Ohlins like Dovi last year? Overall it seems to be a good bike. Well done to Dovi!

Glad to see the Aoyama up in 10th, highest of the true rookies.

All in all, it bodes well for the 2010 season as all the factory bikes are competent (barring Suzuki of course)

              Cheers

star sports has not even a single mention of moto gp in its lineup,
                only some stupid ipl crap.
only a few 100s of plp must be watching in india ,real sad scene

Buddy if only a handful of people were watching it we wouldn't have 3 sports channels telecasting it live, including qualifying.

                      I second that.
I was switching between the three channels (Neo Sports, ESPN and Ten Sports) and checking which one has the best picture and sound quality

Turned out Neo Sports' telecast is at least 5 seconds faster than Ten Sports.

                      • 125 : Good race , but not a classic according to their standards .

Moto 2 : It was good , it was like one of those second races of WSBK
Most of the bikes were sliding , losing the front and doing all sorts of funny stuff . It looked like the chassis was not perfect , I know these prototypes are not meant to be perfect , but how does this work ?

                        * Suter /Moriwaki chassis is sold to the teams , teams get to tweak whateva they want , but what if suter comes up with a new mod !? An improvement to be precise , do they sell it to the teams ? Whats the rule here? then if only a few teams opt to buy then there are 2 different Suter chassis ( Old and new ) ! Or are no changes allowed to the Chassis ?

And i just loved Toni s no 24 bike , It looked awesome .

Motogp : A pretty entertaining opening race after years of getting Stoned in the desert ! Nicky the man just rocked , If he s not lathargic like giving up too soon , He s definitely a potential no 5 ! Now he can ride a ducati !

Honda looks like they ve got some things right , Dani boy at his best ! And i guess the last few existing Dani fans are extinct now !
Dovi reminded me of his JirScot ride beating Rossi , but i don t expect too much from this fellow . Now I guess dani s 348 kmph is under threat in mugello !

SuZuki grandpa was dissappointing after a impressive testing show .

Ben spies put up a good show , From now i guess its gonna be a very uphill task for him . I read somewhere that the next five tracks Japan , Jerez are gonna be new for him and the new parts for more performance might first reach the factory bikes alone.

Rossi , What do i say Rockstar knows when and how to rock !

LORENZOOO !!! , I was betting with my friends this fellow was faking injury , let rossi n gang do the donkey work of testing and come straight in and get a podium and it did happen .

is it not true that Rossi and Lorenzo are not sharing the ride data ?

Setup data and stuff for the race weekend are not shared . But the base bike for the season is the same .

No prabhu, not any more....this year onwards they're both on their own
Which makes it all the more exciting.

I think he was saying that only a few 100s would have been watching the IPL.
