May be he is true may be not! But he sure won a lot hearts with his gestures

Speaking of gestures it was nice to see Ducati fans put up a show, creating "Vale" through white placards among the red ones, for The Doctor

(Some people in red didn't seem to like it

)
And also from other riders in different classes to be showing their feelings towards him.

Although Lorenzo is good, all i can say is " There is a thin line between bravery and madness". Lorenzo drives madly..

Are you sure it's that simple and easy to say and decide?? I think it will take more than few race wins & more than 1 consecutive title to be the top man. Up till now we have only seen 1 yr wonders from Nicky Hayden & Casey Stoner. Their following seasons have been very ordinary.

But yes Lorenzo is surely the top man for the job of challenging Rossi.

I have nothing to say about Lorenzo's Riding...time will be the best judge of it all.......

But this all is pure BS, first those "trying too hard" post race celebrations and now these show of good intentions to win fans, he is not wishing Valetino good health...he is just using the opportunity to look good, create an image. tell me if on the inside he wouln't be jumping with joy that rossi is out for 2-3 races and he has much better chances of winning the championship now.

I for one like people who are straight forward, maybe a word or two abt rossi would have been fine, but the t-shirt and all......grossly overdone....

^ The doctors have till now speculated on a 6 week recovery period & in recent interview David Brivio (rossi's team mgr) has clearly mentioned that he'll be looking to get 100% fit. This means he's surely gonna miss next 3 races, thats atleast 48 points for three 3rd places.

In such a case, Lorenzo will have the best opportunity to take a big lead & possibly seal the championship!

Who has won 4 Rider Championships for Yamaha?

It is a long time before Lorenzo comes anywhere near to Rossi..(m not saying that it is impossible in future..

)....but IMHO we can't compare 7 race wins to 100+.

Oh k guys let the No 1 rider thing settle for sometime.

Well I guess now everyteam is having problems with team mates, Sumit had posted one article on how Honda is developing two completely different bikes with inputs from Andrea and Dani... And it looks like they are in not good terms either. Even Nicky had stated that when he was following them the hondas looked like two different bikes .

Now comes Ducati , Nicky and others feel the bike is good and its the rider error causing the problem. Check my previous post ! But Casey insists its some front end problem. If that case has Casey missed to develop the bike like he wants to ?! then who did that development ? Nicky is doing good on this bike ! Coming back from 40 secs behind in every race last year to maximum 9 secs behind the best yamaha is credible indeed .

If you are not developing a bike for your champs requirement ! Then the team is either not in favour of him or something is screwed up completely !

I really doubt after seeing the way the marlboro garage was wooing Lorenzo to sign with them last year during Casey's mystery illness. Had Lorenzo agreed and signed it would have been interesting to see who they had to let go of.
I am sure again eyebrows will be raised with me saying that but I guess we can have a healthy discussion, ain't we?

Thats a real good point even i was thinking about , Then its almost clear Ducati and Casey are looking for other options ! So Ducati loyalists can speculate on who they want , Casey loyalists should be knowing where he is heading to ! 'Ducati & Casey' Loyalists just forget it ! The championship and next year i mean !

But after coming back from illness...casey won a no. of races back to back...and looked set to do so in Qatar until he crashed.....that means he is still up there after the illness....

maybe stoner likes something(read front end feel) which is different from other riders....thats why when he did well others did bad...and when others/hayden is doing good he is going down...

Ducati have been trying to make the bike more rideable...for that they would have taken hayden's and other riders feedback and used it.....not stoner's as he was already doing good....unknowingly ended up ruining the bike for stoner...

Or maybe they have some information abt casey leaving them this year.....so they have stopped focussing on him.......

Thinking more to the situation and probably committing a crime of involving "certain" rider in this discussion

I was reading somewhere that Fiat Yamaha team is not going to replace Rossi till the time rules force them to; just to show respect towards the rider.
On the other hand Ducati immediately replaced Casey with Kallio as if Kallio will continue the fight for the championship.
Though Yamaha's other rider is leading the championship; goes to show the mindset of the team towards the rider when he is struggling through whatever problems

Well , thats what respect the racers the kingpins should get in a team to be motivated for sure !

In this aspect i guess Ducati is similar to Honda !

And yeah see this , Its like replacing Bridgestone Battleaxe with TVS tires !

But I was jst thinking, if Rossi is out of action for a long time, and Lorenzo leads the championship till the end, wudnt Yamaha decide to keep Lorenzo and let Rossi leave the Team?

If Rossi comes back, He'll take time to get into rhythm.And Lorenzo(Mr.HyperActive) wud be doing gud in most of the races.
Woudnt it be easier for the Team FiatYamaha to decide?

If you had followed everything in Motogp , sales and stuff ! Rossi has done more than just winning championships for them ! So even if he wins he is just a P2 ticket !
