"[I'm not surprised] because the statics show that Jorge won one race and Valentino won nine races in 2008, then Jorge won four races and Valentino won six races in 2009. You can easily imagine how Jorge would do in 2010."

wooo hooh ! I m loving this ! So the bashing has started and i hope the divorce between Rossi n yamaha is amicable..If anyone of you had read michael scott s column on Lorenzo in visordown ! you would accept this guy is gonna get bigger than Rossi ! And his biggest achievement even before a championship is kicking out Rossi ! And thats bigger than a championship

And What crap is this from Felippio ! Its like they want to give Rossi-Yamaha split a bad color ! These words are felipio isn t gonna good with Yamaha ! Ducati's PR stuff with Rossi has Started !

ps: F1 is better than the current Motogp ! A bull flies at 250 kmph , team mates fight ! A japanese overtakes a Spaniard ! The yellow share auto is doing good ! Wow I have more to talk abt F1 than stuff which happen only off the track in GP !

You only answered your question . It was because of Rossi the WALL had come up, not because Yamaha said so.

By Rider friendly I meant they take inputs from riders to develop the bike unlike Ducati till last year or Honda some years back who used to say "we give the riders the best bike they just should know how to ride it"

Agree with you on this. As I said last year it is just a matter of time that the #99 kid starts making less mistakes and he can takeover the legend which is exactly has happened. Impeccable performance by him till date.

      • ^^ well some years ago the testing rules were different. so in other words "Rider Friendly" teams applies to everybody in the motoGP paddock.

btw Loris Capriosi, Troy Bayliss and Sete Gibenau were all giving inputs to Ducati to develop the GP series.

I have a bad habit of living in the past
Yeah you are right now a days the trend has changed a lot probably after the previous rossi switch and the famous South Africa win in 2004.
Teams listen to their riders more.

          Edit:
There is no end to the silly season
Valentino Rossi's team manager Davide Brivio looks set to join the MotoGP world champion in leaving Yamaha at the end of this season.

Looks like Yamaha will have the riches in terms of the riders but not in terms of management (Brivio) or technicians (Furusawa). These were people behind Yamaha's turnaround...

            • With Spies almost confirmed for factory Yamaha team replacing Rossi, I think Yamahas' domination will now be even more. It'll be a dream if Rossi can get the championship for Ducati although, I still wish Ducati signed Spies instead for their long term future. Rossi will surely retire soon. Hopefully, Spies will land up with Ducati then.

Stoner needs to clear the cobwebs from his head before he can seriously challenge for the championship again with any factory ride. What I would give to watch him have a similar season to his championship season with the Duc?
Put in aptly by someone at some other forum.

              • I wanna see how the climax of Rossi-Yamaha story turns out to be, can't wait for Valencia. These last 8 races are now a mere reason to get to the next season.. Lorenzo almost has his Title now & a big drama celebration planned already...

I don't know why but predicting Rossi's end is just not the right thing to do yet.. Not before the end of 2011 season..

                • well..Lorenzo is doing an awesome job at the circuits. . . just doing the right job which yamaha wouldn't even have dreamed of when rossi got injured.. and now... hes now flying high with the highest number of points... rossi unfortunately hasnt got enough points . . he needs time to get back in form.. . and not enough races are left . . . . well . . .still it ll be very different to see the legend in red. . . and ben spies i guess is the best replacement in team yamaha. . . well stoner hasnt performed much in this season but its too early to say anything abt him or pedrosa or dovizioso or hayden... . enjoy the season !!!

                      • ^^ arn't we all are.

                        Ok time for news.

Last week Soul's Motonews reported Rainbow heading to WSBK or Moto2 and PD breaking his Leg. (bad news for suzuki no surprise though)

Now on the lines of Rossi joining Ducati Biaggi speaks: and other great words by the Roman Emperor.

"I will come up against Valentino again if he does a Superbike race, which he says he would like to do," Biaggi continued, clearly wanting any future battles to be fought on his new home turf.

"To my colleagues that are thinking about coming here, like Melandri, I say: If you want to swap paint and fight hard for wins again, this is the right place to be."

BTW:Marco Melandri is more over sure of joining BMW in SBK. so the former team mattes might battle it out in another championship.

question is. who replaces Marco? AD? or is Honda going to court? or maybe DP is joining Suzuki?

                        • ^^

Is this soul news or soul speculation! Well all the news today are speculations !

Anywaysm, Who came up with this wild guess of DP ( De puniet / Dani Pedrosa ) joining suzuki ? Or is there someother DP.

Suzuki have another scapegoat 'guintoli' to replace LCP.

Biaggi is inviting trouble ! No more Gear driven cams next year Mr.Emperor !
