    • Just saw it on the ticker, Tomizawa has succumbed to injuries.
      RIP Tomi!

I looked horrible the way he just lay on th track post the accident. Tragic day for moto racing.
All riders fall; some get back on, some don't, some can't...

              • Japanese riders are a cursed lot or what. Kato, Abe and now Tomizawa all within a decade. RIP.

What do I intend to do? Stuff ZMR drivetrain into an Ambition chassis and watch others run scared!

                          • Not very happy with the way the incident was handled.
Did anybody see the guys actually dropped Tomi while taking him out of the track on the stretcher?
And the race should have been red flagged; both Redding and Tomi were unable to move after the crash (not sure of the rule book but still...)

                              agree. heck... really violent crash.

saw the drop too. was prolly just cause they were rushing. but yea, it's shouldn't have happened.

and yes it should have been red flagged.

watched the replay of the crash about a 100 times already... really sad.

They were both young (Lenz only 13) & extremely talented!
