Ken, you can expect this thread to catch some bit of fire again like it happened to that "Angry young man's rants" thread..
    Yeah! Maybe.
The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

The YBR will remain, and so will be the Gladiators type RS and SS.

The SZ150 is slotted in the executive segment.

hope the fazer gets a proper facelift so it can be a proper touring machine with some better power and handling capabilities which justifies its price

Concentrating on premium cadre of people through expensive 150cc bikes, they manage to garner 20 odd thousand units per month.....

Do you want them to survive in India or not....

This bike will do wonders for Yamaha. Pricing would be the main driving force, though.

Btw, is the power output confirmed to be 11PS. Seems a tad low for 150cc bike. 12-12.5 Ps would be decent enough.

+1 to that. Even the 1st Gen 150s like the Classic Pulsar, CBZ Fiero, Fiero F2 (mine), made power in excess of 12bhp!

Remember that certain story about the RX100 making 11BHP when it was launched

I doubt Yamaha would "say" anything like that now! - and I doubt they will come close to FZs performance with this bike as well! (lesser tyre drag as in the FZ , probably lighter as well... this could do better than FZ!)

yes Yamaha can do wonders on road performance..........like they did with R15 -a 150 cc bike which beats a 223 cc Karizma in Performance
                            Don't Honk Unnecessarily

What I meant was that they WONT come close to FZ in terms of performance.
