Yes you can say so because i am not saying any rubbish thing like you that it has DTS-I technology & what ever information i am posting you can confirm it on 5th of august itself during SZ's launch.And by the way when did i mention that it would be powered by 11BHP engine?Check my post again & see it again & again before saying anything else.

thing is fz is highly tuned for acceleration ie 0-60 loses heavy on top end
how can new one outperforms former in 0-60

because basically SZ will have same FZ's engine ( with same tuning most probably ) & since it will have thinner tyre so it will help it to even outperform FZ in that parameter

But, will FZ engine give the mileage a commuter needs?
On the flip side, a 11 bhp 150cc engine with more torque at less revs would be great for mileage.

And being a 14 bhp vehicle, will those front drum brakes do?

Frankly speaking, if my P180 had drum brakes up front, you all would be wishing me R.I.P by now. No really!

@ yamaha4ever: The second vehicle might be YBR 125 as mentioned by Autocar.

Mind your words Yamaha4ever this is forum and you can get infraction for your words Don't use rude language here and second thing I said 14bhp instead of 11bhp because there is a typo error and that is for everyone.You may be in R&D yamaha but learn to use words in forum.

I have heard that the state of tune is very different and its more tweaked for mileage by one of the testers

Buy a 20K second hand two stroke, port the hell out of it for 10-15K and beat it and be happy.....

PS: Theres a lot more to motorcycling than its top speed... The R15 handles leagues ahead of anything in the market... P220 is more of a street bike, it will be faster on straight lines for sure... and with 70more CCs that shouldnt be so difficult.

PPS: Just because its 70K doesnt make it a bad bike, its THE most VFM bike for street...

PPPS: I think I will buy P220 soon and make an offroader from it!!!!

Please contribute about the SZ 150 if you have anything.

Aside, I think if this bike is priced 6-7k lower than the FZ-16, it will do well. The styling looks decent for the commuter, and the trusted Yamaha brand image will make it a good seller. The FE of this bike will be an interesting facet though, as this would drive the volume charts wrt a commuter bike.

back to SZ...i think Yamaha should make front disc standard fitment on this bike as all other 150 cc bikes comes with standard fitment front disc setup.
