Yes you can say so because i am not saying any rubbish thing like you that it has DTS-I technology & what ever information i am posting you can confirm it on 5th of august itself during SZ's launch. And by the way when did i mention that it would be powered by 11BHP engine?Check my post again & see it again & again before saying anything else.Originally posted by zayn View PostOk
I think you have done Ph.d in Yamaha...

but the bike don't have 11bhp engine it has 13bhp engine
Friends I got a update regarding SZ's launch that there wont be just a single launch but two launches.Hold on guys there isn't anything to excite us but the 2nd launch will be in a commuter segment.
One more thing is confirmed that SZ will outperform FZ in almost every department other then FZ's styling whether be it 0-60 / top speed / better efficiency.

thing is fz is highly tuned for acceleration ie 0-60 loses heavy on top endOriginally posted by yamaha4ever View PostYes you can say so because i am not saying any rubbish thing like you that it has DTS-I technology & what ever information i am posting you can confirm it on 5th of august itself during SZ's launch. And by the way when did i mention that it would be powered by 11BHP engine?Check my post again & see it again & again before saying anything else.

how can new one outperforms former in 0-60

because basically SZ will have same FZ's engine ( with same tuning most probably ) & since it will have thinner tyre so it will help it to even outperform FZ in that parameterOriginally posted by udayrrr View Postthing is fz is highly tuned for acceleration ie 0-60 loses heavy on top end

But, will FZ engine give the mileage a commuter needs?Originally posted by yamaha4ever View Postbecause basically SZ will have same FZ's engine ( with same tuning most probably ) & since it will have thinner tyre so it will help it to even outperform FZ in that parameter
On the flip side, a 11 bhp 150cc engine with more torque at less revs would be great for mileage.
And being a 14 bhp vehicle, will those front drum brakes do?
Frankly speaking, if my P180 had drum brakes up front, you all would be wishing me R.I.P by now. No really!
@ yamaha4ever: The second vehicle might be YBR 125 as mentioned by Autocar.---

Mind your words Yamaha4ever this is forum and you can get infraction for your words Don't use rude language here and second thing I said 14bhp instead of 11bhp because there is a typo error and that is for everyone. You may be in R&D yamaha but learn to use words in forum.Originally posted by yamaha4ever View PostYes you can say so because i am not saying any rubbish thing like you that it has DTS-I technology & what ever information i am posting you can confirm it on 5th of august itself during SZ's launch. And by the way when did i mention that it would be powered by 11BHP engine?Check my post again & see it again & again before saying anything else.Ride Safe & Ride Long-->

0-60 No way, but everything else I agree...Originally posted by yamaha4ever View PostOne more thing is confirmed that SZ will outperform FZ in almost every department other then FZ's styling whether be it 0-60 / top speed / better efficiency.
I have heard that the state of tune is very different and its more tweaked for mileage by one of the testersOriginally posted by yamaha4ever View Postbecause basically SZ will have same FZ's engine ( with same tuning most probably ) & since it will have thinner tyre so it will help it to even outperform FZ in that parameter
Buy a 20K second hand two stroke, port the hell out of it for 10-15K and beat it and be happy.....Originally posted by Satyamzma View Posti had already ridden it and i hate when 70k pulsar 220 beat it on every street
PS: Theres a lot more to motorcycling than its top speed... The R15 handles leagues ahead of anything in the market... P220 is more of a street bike, it will be faster on straight lines for sure... and with 70more CCs that shouldnt be so difficult.
PPS: Just because its 70K doesnt make it a bad bike, its THE most VFM bike for street...
PPPS: I think I will buy P220 soon and make an offroader from it!!!!
I am just curious - How is taunting someone about a PHD less offensive?Originally posted by zayn View PostMind your words Yamaha4ever this is forum and you can get infraction for your words Don't use rude language here and second thing I said 14bhp instead of 11bhp because there is a typo error and that is for everyone. You may be in R&D yamaha but learn to use words in forum.
PS: That word wasnt for You, that word rubbish was for the claim..

Now only if you understand that ther is much more to biking than "beating" another bike....Originally posted by Satyamzma View Posti had already ridden it and i hate when 70k pulsar 220 beat it on every street

PSF: You must be in utter hatred for any bike in India with a price tag of over 70k.......

Grow up guys! Fight it over PMs please.
Please contribute about the SZ 150 if you have anything.
Aside, I think if this bike is priced 6-7k lower than the FZ-16, it will do well. The styling looks decent for the commuter, and the trusted Yamaha brand image will make it a good seller. The FE of this bike will be an interesting facet though, as this would drive the volume charts wrt a commuter bike.
My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
