You basically state, that whoever buys a CB1000R is an idiot as compared to one who buys a CBR1000RR...same displacement, however completely different power characteristics. Well I understand YOU want top whack and higher hp figures, but do not bash a bike before knowing the whole truth.

P.S. - You see the avatar pic and jump to a conclusion. Look at the signature boy....I ride the bull as well as the R15.

If you are not aware of standard etiquette of forums (netiquette), please have little search over the internet and you will get loads of details

If some thing has been followed respectfully for ages here, then it makes no sense arguing on it.

            Back to topic...

1.8lacs ex-showroom is quite a good price. Onroad around 2.20lacs.

                • Today I went to Mahindra showroom for a test ride of Flyte scooter, there the salesman told about these 2 launches of one as 300cc and other as 110cc bike. And he also told me that there is a bike from Bajaj known as 'NINJI'(I told him that it's Ninja not Ninji but he denied it.) which costs 3L and our bike will only cost 1.5L and is a 300cc machine which is more than Bajaj NINJI 250cc. I did'nt wanted to teach him a technical lesson so just ignored him and went out of showroom.

                  • So that means there is something coming. But its surprising the mechs don't know properly about it-they should have been trained by now considering the launch is only 4 days away!
I feel if it is a single cylinder then 25bhp is good. If it is a twin, then I would expect around 10 more.
                    Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I will be more than happy if its around 5ps more for a twin cylinder and honestly will start considering it if its a true naked styling.

                            • I am just curious to know the enormous torque that this machine(300cc) will generate at as low rpm as possible, that's what means to me irrespective of the power which for my requirements could be around 25bhp and I will be the most happy person on this planet.

Made by Mahindra (salesman). These salesman only knows, how to prove their product superior over the other and that's what they have been kept for.

The most Funny reply I have ever come to see on xBhp. You named your R15 as Ninji.
