^^ i'm not saying it looks bad, it looks really good. My problem is that cbr's were meant to be track bikes with those menacing twin headlamps. But the 250r is more of a sports tourer and not that great a track bike. The 150r from what i have read is a great track tool but i would have liked it better with the sharp styling and twin headlamps that the 600 and 1000 have

I was one of those who never liked the headlamp assembly on the 250R when i saw the first pics of the bike.Originally posted by revvhard View PostThe cbr150r looks like quite a great package, but personally i wouldnt by it. Only reason is that honda is for some reason trying to make the twin headlamp and sharp aggressive styling exclusive to only the 600 and the 1000. I would have loved to see a bike that looks like it is meant to be raced rather than a bike that looks like the vfr which is a sports tourer.
Just my 2 cents no offense to any 1 who likes it or is buying it
Now 6 months after owning one, it slowly grew on me
Its just the angle of viewing that makes the difference. If you look at it from the front it looks like just another commuter bike but take a few steps to the left or right and it shows
The following pic is just a ref pic:

Like ways many find cbr 250r attractive that the mighty vfr 1200fOriginally posted by srini View PostTotally agree, but the flagship (manufactured in India) doesnt look as fab as this one
CBR 250R as a package is worth it and I do understand that,no hard feelings or hurting sentis there

Besides they dont have a common color to be mistaken with and also one can easily differentiate between the two when they are on the move aswell.Totally agree, but the flagship (manufactured in India) doesnt look as fab as this oneOriginally posted by sayank10 View Postjust like we differentiate p150,180,200,220s.

BI's ride report was saying that CBR's handling is somewhat slightly inferior to that of R15, although it has good torque spread over the range, unlike what specs and its peaky nature suggests.
Yes, modifications have their own problems but most of the good modifications are reliable too nowadays.
Don't know about others but if I was an R15 owner, I would get it modified from reliable places like Joel's, that too to such a small extent that it doesn't attract cops, like Bigbore, headwork, better headlights, etc.Even i read that quite sometime back, and that is what made me look forward for CBR150's launch...Originally posted by antz.bin View PostLinky Please
On paper it has 3NM torque difference, but it is still having better review!
I'm eagerly waiting for xBhp's review... but its nowhere in sight...

Pillion friendly?
Exclusivity?(considering R15s are selling like hotcake here and everywhere and i dont see 150R catching up in terms of sales)
Better Ergonomics and comfortable upright seating posture for people of all sizes?

I would be more happy if the CBR 150 r gets launched by my personal design
I would be more happy if the CBR 150 r is refreshed and Launched by my TASTE
1. Twin Light Head Lamp assembly or they could have used White Halogen like P 220 .
2. The Fuel tank should have undergone some design . My personal point of view ( It looks like a Ballon
)
3. Expecting the horn should be same as ( R15 V 2.0 / Fazer / Apache )
4. Side Fairings should have undergone a Peppy design / sharp cutting edges .
5. Engine Kill switch
6. LED tail lamps
7. The radiator size should have increased .
Note - I guess , if the Honda Launches the CBR 150 r with these Changes means HMSI would have Priced this bike around INR - 1,60,000 /- or above .
.
These all are my personal point of view . Comments are appreciated
Cheers S.V.Prasad
