  • I think id agree with saravjit...

A better tank is an absolute requirement.. Personally, if given a choice, id also wish something be done with the headlights... Preferably, no bikini fairing but a different longish treatment...
    I like 'em Naked

I would love to have this bike, even though I'm a fan of faired sport tourers. This will make a wonderful street bike, with its muscular looks, et.all.

      Absolutely True....!

Its just the tank which needs a little mod...else the bike looks perfect and 'different'...!

And its another fact that since it is 'different', not many would like it...!

      • Not a bad bike at the price, I would say better VFM than the CBR250

Just a bit of tinkering can make it look like the Wakan

Like someone mentioned before, mahindra should think of giving a different angle to the tank, right now it is inclined more like a chopper. I'd buy one for sure..even if its the same price as the Honda..

        Why?

        USD forks
        Radial calipers
        Love those wheels
Mahindras entry into Motogp..so we might see them selling some aftermarket parts.

What I dont like but would be able to live with (and get rid off )

The dual lamps..thats funky italian design for sure

And the gold on the chassis and swingarm..buff them out and repaint. My two bits..I think the bike would do great especially with the mahindra network and infrastructure.

If CBR250R is priced below 1.5 lacs then Mojo would definitely disappear!

              • Even i feel it has better VFM than Honda CBR250, it is just the tank & the headlight set up that should be changed, give a single silencer which would also reduce weight of the bike & look better.

hahaha! Buddy Mahindra is just playing around. Watch for it...

Like I said they know they have competition ahead.
Spidy what do you think they will price it lower or Honda would be costlier or make changes in product itself?

                    • I really hope the Mojo does well.

It should teach a thing or two to "performance bike" local manufacturers who launch "ALL NEW" new bikes with a CC increase of 10 or 15 at a time and an increase of 2 to 4 bhp.

I also find a comment above very funny about not paying a 1.75 lakh premium for some "premium italian bits". Sure. Quality costs money. Thats why Bajaj had to recall some Pulsars for shock absorbers cracking. You think that will happen with these "italian bits" ??? I think not. And thats why they are premium bits and thats why they cost more.

This is the precise attitude why indian bikes are not upto scratch in refinement and quality. And when an Indian manufacturer takes a brave step and says " Hey, I can provide that quality too. But it will cost you"....We immediately say, "I won't pay that kind of money for an indian brand."

This is the kind of regressive attitude that doesn't let our local engineering improve.

Kudos to Mahindra for taking a brave step and launching a quality product and charging what it will cost to provide that quality.

Better than other manufacturers who keep offering new bells and whistles, but offer essentially the same pathetic levels of engineering quality in the core product in order to tap the mass market.

Of course, if Mahindra goes the same way, this post will have been in vain, and my hopes will be dashed yet again.
There once was a woman who was quite begat.
She had three babies named Nat, Pat, and Tat.
She said it was fun in the breeding,
But found it was hell in the feeding
When she saw there was no tit for Tat.
