      • The tech specs and equipments were all ok.

But goes to show how much important is getting the styling spot on.

        • I don't find a big fault with the bike apart from CBR coming to the scene at a similar price....

Moreover, MOJO is/would be a made to order product which will sell based on the number of orders it gets.

It is more of a bike which would display Mahindra's brand

Mojo would go live as it was displayed (on the looks front). Response is not a big deterrent for the bike currently.

          • Tech specs allright except for the two exhausts(buy one get one free !) and styling ,talk about being at the wrong place at wrong time. Hoping mahindra would ditch project 'mojo'(name included) and come up with something that makes sense in 'this' market.

            • I would wait till its launch before commenting about its looks. Its designed in italy, It has USD front forks, dual exhaust and its designed by Engines engineering.

But still, i dnt understand. If its a cruiser, why the hell did they call it a track bike? When was the last time we saw cruisers racing on track?

I went to a Mahindra two wheelers showroom inquiring about the Mojo. The showroom owner said that they will be getting a test-ride piece in December and pieces for sale from January onwards. He already had booking inquiries from some 30 odd customers. I registered myself for a test-ride :P

                      • After the news of Honda 250, nobody is interested in the MOJO?
this thread is almost dead, common guys lets speculate...

                        • I say the Mojo needs different looks. They should get some good freelance designers to work on it.

Remember, that the CBR 250R would cost lesser, with almost the same power. Plus the Honda Reliability. So, Mahindra have to act fast if they don't want some shattering competition.

The things that I dont like in Mojo's design, if the company needs a feedback:-->

                          1. Twin Silencers are so unnecessary on a single cylinder engine, and no one can argue that they look good.
Single Underseat/ side exhaust would look good enough. A well proportioned Underseat exhaust might also aid in mass centralisation for good handling.

                          2. The Headlight setup should have been bigger, (or somehow different from existing one). The space below it is too much and this is not looking good.
I would rather like a bikini fairing (like Hunk, Pulsar 150, etc.), rather than a naked setup, if nothing else can be done about it.

                          3. The tank should be higher & horizontally levelled, the rider seat should be lower, so as to give a modern look to the bike. In fact, the whole tank should be redesigned.
And those 2 gold colored rods just below the tank, What are they? They look so out of place. total eyesore...

As of now, this doesn't suit the Indian Taste. Neither a naked bike lover nor a cruiser lover will appreciate the aesthetics of this bike.

                          ---
@ Other members: Guys, please stop flaming Mojo and flaterring CBR 250R. That would affect no one.
Kindly pour in your suggestions, so that atleast the company can benefit from it, before actually launching the bike. We should appreciate Mahendra, for they are doing this so soon, what some Japanese comps. couldn't do even in 20+ years.

Technically if Mojo's good enough, it will make a good touring machine.

                            • Agreed Samarth 619.
Everyone is so much glued to CBR thread that hardly anyone comments here. Other than looks the bike has lot of good stuff, I own a Honda for past 6 years but still eagerly waiting for Mojo,i think Mahindra will make changes in its looks as they can see the competition in front of them.

                              • I don't agree entirely here-this kind of styling indicates a full round of evolution&I actually like it a lot, all the bits including the golden tubes etc. But the only thing I feel is the tank could have been slightly downward inclined-that would make it reminiscent of the Speed Triple!
I would love to have this bike, even though I'm a fan of faired sport tourers. This will make a wonderful street bike, with its muscular looks, et.all.
