At my place, the dealer says they dont have any info and all the information will only be available in april.. and they will call us as they have any info..Originally posted by sudeepnbr View PostI had called up my dealer for a general enquiry...
He said prices and other details will be announced in March. Also he said that I'll definitely get the delivery in April (April 15th is the tentative date he mentioned).

As per my knowledge and what I've heard from my dealer, we will get the bikes that are "Made in India"... No CBR250R will be imported to India.Originally posted by Tron05 View PostI have not been following this thread, but earlier there were speculations on the first batch of bikes been brought to India as CKD from Malaysia.. just an FYI, if that still holds, the price may go up as per the new budgetSudeep P Nambiar

And as per my knowledge, if you see a cbr250 (print, tv, real life or anywhere), it is Made in India...Originally posted by bprags View Post+1. I don't think Honda can price an imported CBR250R at 1.5 Lakhs ex showroom.May the torque be with you..

- The booking amount is 100% refundable through cheque in two days
- The bike will be made in India so dont worry! if it were to be imported then we would already have seen CBRs on road.
- Later it will be exported to South America & Other Places!
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.
My Stable:
2009 & Present: HH Hunk Limited Edition [Red Striker]
2011 & Present: Honda CBR 250R [Black Blade]

Good news for CBR250R aspirants! Government didnot propose an increase in the existing excise duties hence there shouldnt be any price increase in all cars and bikes, at least not in the near future. This should help HMSI to keep the ex-showroom price at 1.5 Lakhs for the non-ABS version of the baby Ceeber.
P.S. CKD products are doomed. If Ninja 250 wont be made here, the price wil become around 6 lakhs within a month or so!..tear the map and shoot the sign

1.8 would have been a nice price if it was a twin..
i use to love my Ported RD350 with 800caeb.. was a breeze at any speed.. have taken it to 170 and the acceleration...wow.. i will be happy if CBR can do 90% of what my RD did..
they could have used the old CBR250RR engine and would have been a bl**dy bike with 45BHP@14krpm and it screams all the way to 18k redline..Last edited by saikamaldoss; 03-02-2011, 11:48 PM.
