Budget 2011 fine print: imported engines to cost more, even small cars may become expensive

As per this article, all the CKD's will become costly, will be at par with CBU's.

If thats the case then CBR250R may become costly, maybe somewhere near Ninja 250.

That will be a very bad news for the prospective buyers

both CBR and R15 are manufactured in India

CBR wont be manufactured, it will be assembled

On other note I seriously don't understand why people post something just for the sake of posting?
It has been cleared long back that CBR will be manufactured here in India and will be exported as well. And people still come up with this.

Dude, I put something there as I thought it to be correct. If you cant clear misconceptions then please don't put such pathetic comments. Who says people have to come here with all the knowledge. I did not know something and got it cleared. How tough was that on tulinisarg's behalf?

Also, is it not possible that because of this news (Budget 2011 fine print: imported engines to cost more, even small cars may become expensive) Honda may decide to increase the price, as this rule puts Ninja 250 out of the game and leaves a lot of room for CBR250R to be priced? Ninja wont be 3 lacs as it is a CKD as per the rule.
