    • Just Spoke to Honda Dealer here in Chandigarh (Krishna Automobiles) and the Booking starts from Jan 1st Booking amount: Rs. 5000/- The pricing is 1.40 ex showroom and OTR is 1.5 lacs for NON ABS and for the ABS version it is 1.98 lacs On road, so there is a good 50k difference. These prices are approximate as mentioned by sales person. It will come in three colors Black, Silver & Red/Silver. Maybe the HRC color will be launched later.

Incorrect information! Honda is sly with their work... what they have communicated is very different from whats mentioned to you

C-Abs vs non abs & a difference of 50k?...makes no sense!
your dealer was dealing you false info.

But i do have my suspicions that the booking my start sooner than Feb.

If the cost of bike is 1.4 ex showroom then it can never cost 1.5 on-road, it has to be around 1.6. Coz a R-15 costs 1.16 in Hyderabad on road so u can see the price difference in ex-showroom and on-road price.

I am afraid buddy that atleast the on-road info is incorrect....

            • For anything above 1.5 Lakhs on road (for the non ABS variant).. Yamaha can breathe easy for the R15.

I guess so.. I too think 50k difference makes no sense but in a way I think being Honda they will charge a premium for their ABS technology and that too a first bike with ABS in India.

No, it can be 1.50 lacs OTR here, welcome to Chandigarh where we have 0% or very less taxes compared to other cities. You can call up any dealer in Chandigarh and compare prices of any bike like R-15, karizma and see the difference with the dealers in your city

Recently in Nov I checked the karizma pricing and it was 73k for ZMA-R and 93k for ZMR all on the road

Some people even travel from different cities to buy cars from Chandigarh as they save 20-30k or sometimes more on a new car.

                • One of the Honda dealers in Hyderabad is saying India is getting only one model (he doesn't even know that some bikes have ABS)&it will cost 1.81L OTR.
Don't believe the dealers until the bike is actually launched-we xBhpians have much more info than them!

                      • The bike will be available in three two-tone colour combos – 1)Candy Ruby Red & Accurate Silver Metallic, 2) Sword Silver Metallic & Accurate Silver Metallic and 3)Asteroid Black Metallic & Accurate Silver Metallic.

The Accurate-Silver-Metallic seems to be a jazzy style statement!
