Having said that, i do encourage you to talk more about the CBR 250. It might be tough after 50 thousand posts on it, but, hey, we can try.

You can ask the dealer when you book. As far as i know, you can pay the booking amount and when the bike comes you can avail the finance option that the dealer has direct access to. If you want to get some other bank to finance your bike, you will have 2 months to talk to them and get to know the formalities. Eventually the bike will be financed as and when it is available.

One of my friends is seriously waiting for this bike's launch. He had gone to Jhaveri Honda, Mumbai a few days back to inquire about the bike's launch and price. They asked him to fill in a printed inquiry form for CBR250R and told him they'll contact him at right time with further details.
Today afternoon one of the female representatives from Jhaveri Honda called him and gave following information.
She said the bike will be launched on Jan 1st, 2011 and bookings will start from 3rd Jan 2011. Bike can be seen in select showrooms from 1st Jan onwards.
When my friend asked bout the price, she said it'll be Rs. 1.2 Lac. My friend was mighty surprised as it was too good to believe. He asked if it's for the ABS version or the non ABS version, she got confused with the technical terms

Well in any case, Here are the contact details of Jhaveri Honda so that you can contact and confirm/gather more information regarding launch and price.

We have already seen the circular which was sent out to Honda dealers and it was clearly mentioned around 1.5L so we should stick to that only. It seems that the price speculation will not end till the bike is officially launched..
Does anyone have any idea about the interest rates being charged by Honda showroom for the finance option?Last edited by shadabk01; 12-28-2010, 05:21 PM.

update...spoke to a dealer in bangalore..said the price on bike on road may be coming to ~1.7L(accurate figure to be revealed in Jan 1st week)...altough he was not sure which version (Non abs vs C-abs)...Im sincererly hoping it is the abs version so that i can book it at the earliest..
.
If its for the non-abs then its as good as down the drains for me.

Well, I really wanna buy this as my first bike (Yes, I ma total bike noob). But puzzled with serious of questions. (And I really don't wanna buy those normal commuter's.)
So, How well can this baby CBR manage at city condition's ? Or its just a tourer ?
Slight OT:
I am going to settle up in Chennai pretty soon, 2 months top's ... And will be under compulsion to make a commute of 400 to 600 km tops a month. Yes I would love to do some weekend trips too ... So if to say some ~800 km a month ... How much big hole will it leave in my monthly allowances -__- (Yes, Papa is very mad after he saw the prices >.>) Moreover I have to get premium fuel right ? If I am buying this baby ?
Are there any FE review's out for this bike ? Under various conditions ? By some mag or anyother mag / testing people ?
Or I just have to go for the new R15 (That's yet to be released).Last edited by BladeBoy; 12-31-2010, 01:30 PM.2011 - CBR 250R (RED, Delivered) - Happy Man! - SOLD
