    Sufficient as RE's have 145, Ninja 250R has 140 & Kwacker 650R 135

Yeah, everyone wants litre class & 1 Lakh here!!!
I'm totally disappointed with that single cylinder!!! Still Kwacker 250R has the potential. But CBR250 is pure VFM product is launched at 1.5L range. Its bound to eat R15's share a little bit.

YMIS - do something other than FZ1!!!

Reminds me of 1.75L Comet launched 8 years ago except that it had twin cylinder, no ABS & FI.

1.5 lakhs is too low. If they can charge a premium for their puny bikes what is stopping them from charging a premium on their premium offering???

1.5 could be the ex-showroom price IMO. That would bring it to ~1.75L OTR+extra for the C-ABS. Going by the press release, they are planning to make it in India&export it to South America, so India will get the best pricing.
Even then, an OTR price for a faired Honda 250 single less than a naked Mahindra is very very difficult for me to believe.
Agreed that this will have better performance compared to our 'premium' ~1L Indian production bikes, but still will not match the Ninja in terms of outright power.
But hey, I think all manufacturers will soon be toying in this very space-they must have understood by this time that not too many people want to spend ~3L on a 250cc import.
Good for us though-we will soon have a lot of touring choices!

Killer looks + Honda legendary refinement! This is going to be a great product, maybe the R15 story all over again. For less than 2 lacs it's impractical to expect a Twin IMO.

If they are claiming topspeed of 160kmph with their CBR150 (18.5-19ps), I'm wondering how much they are gonna claim with around 10 horses more!
