No one is even doubting quality as it's a honda

but refer to some old reports & actual user reviews to know that thailand honda is also notorious for making some below quality bikes

hope (seriously) -- this one is as good inside as it looks on outside

The lovely lady* has forgotten to strap up her helmet.

On another note, the bike defiantly looks cool.

Yup. I already mentioned that generally for single cylinder the rule is 1ps per 10cc. So the range will be 24-27ps

All in a hurry as I see it....
They could have posted some pics from the video in the hills ...instead they chose to show the bike coming through a narrow road into the main street .... But sure can notice one thing in the pic.... it does make heads turn

CBR 250R - In at least two terms, it seems to be better than R-15, the next best option available in India, that is, Stroke wise and compression wise. And thus, should be a better revving machine than R-15. With 160 kgs, it has to have at least 26+ PS to compete with Ninja 250R in some markets. The top speed should be 140+ kmph whereas the small CBR 150R, who has gained 23 kgs. will loose some of its top speed edge.

Downward slope starts for bikes like ZMR, R-15, Pulsar 220 in their current form.

Also, the earlier pictures were indeed camouflage.

High revving or not i feel this is going to be one hell of a machine.... If Zma with a honda heart and just 17ps and 9.0:1 compression, weighing 150kgs can compete with 21ps P220-160kgs,bigger carb or even 135Kg R15 in terms of acceleration, handling and descent mileage .... What this machine with all technology, xtra ccs, more power and better chassis can do is something I cant wait to experience and if priced at 1.5-1.75 lacs ex-showroom can really make other companies have sleepless nights especially Mahindra-MOJO
You seriously interested in the boring long answer of it....?

What it has doesnt make it special, what it can do with it which we will know tomorrow would decide its fate.
ABS @ a price tag of 1.5~1.7 is THE purchasing criteria for someone like me here!

I doubt!~ This is what R15 was to Yamaha India for Honda to the EM.

@Dinesh: It puts the 150R right where the Dreams go when they dont get their kick

If they bring the 150R for a <1L charge it would be bye bye Indian 'premium' Manufacturers! Though I doubt they would and if they could bring it here

Btw, what about Mojo? Is the Mojo price justified if Honda drops the market prices.

                      Let the pricing contest begin

I guess even Ninja will take a hit from the Honda pricing.

But me still waiting for the GT650R, it was supposed to launch around diwali, lets see how it gets affected.

If they bring both the 150r and this nearly confirmed '250'..All roads will be flooded with Hondas..Well,atleast Xbhp ownership threads will be

I am so much thrilled can't explain..A few days back we were ranting if Honda's launching the 150r for anything less than 1.25 lacs and now we have the 250 coming just 'under 1.5 lacs'...
Mojo and Ninja both killed..Ninja has already done well in India..but I feel so sorry for Mojo...
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

The silver colored alloys don't look good, black will look better.

What Mojo? the one that is still to hatch and anyone around has to ride and let us know? That?

GT650R - was told to be launched on 27th November, some 2 digit number bikes in first lot.

Dont buy it in first lot

unless the 250R is priced @ 2.5L i dont think there is place for the 150R in india.. ofcourse they can sell it along side their dazzler lol
