Exactly what i said , what it can do is more important than what the figures says......Touring now has better optionsOriginally posted by satyenpoojary View PostYou seriously interested in the boring long answer of it....?
What it has doesnt make it special, what it can do with it which we will know tomorrow would decide its fate.
ABS @ a price tag of 1.5~1.7 is THE purchasing criteria for someone like me here!
..If Honda plans to take on Ninja with CBR250R while pricing it < 2 lacs......Smart move

Whoa! It'll kill the mojo in competition instantly if it's around 1.5 and being a Honda + ABS, unlike the mojo! Beautiful bike though! Honda answered our prayers
Riding is a way of life. Sometimes, it might also be a way of giving life. So Ride safe. In both contexts.

I don't think this will be a threat to the likes of Yamaha R15. There will be enough of a price difference for both of the bikes to exist.
Power wise it is down on the kwacker but then Honda has a better image then Kawasaki. Also in Europe you are restricted to bikes less than 33 odd bhp for two years after you get your learner's license. So it fits in there. Right now there is nothing that Honda has to offer in this segment and hence Kwacker rules.
Also absolute power is crap, if this is a tourer come commuter it doesn't matter how many bhps are packed. How is the suspension and power delivery matters more than anything else.
Remember a R15 can run rings around a P220 in real world.
Lastly my heart goes out to Hero Honda, because this is what the ZMR should alway have been.
BUt the best part is what it will make the likes of Bajaj, Hero and Yamaha do. Because they would have to do something to compete in this segment.
Expect the next Pulsar or the Zmr to have USD forks and radial calipers.
This is definitely good news, just don't expect this to be cheap as nuts. I don't think it will be below 2.
Sadly this is no good news for me. Because i was hoping someone gets a 400 or a 650 cc stuff.
