  • I guess 15K is pretty much

    Depends on the quality

OT: I heard Pilot Honda & Jhaveri Honda havent returned the C Form so by default their delivery dispatches have been delayed

Can anyone shed light on it from MUMBAI?

I guess I will get my CBR in September
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

    My Stable:
2009 & Present: HH Hunk Limited Edition [Red Striker]
2011 & Present: Honda CBR 250R [Black Blade]

15k is a decently high price unless they are handing out Alpine Stars!. Bet helmet would be Indian made (Studds, Steelbird etc..)

But I still agree that the Interest rate seems to be higher, was in a hurry so did not ask for the details, will do that once I go there to book the bike.
Here in Pune, the HDFC guy quoted a min DP of about 70k and an interest rate of 11.2%.. he had an EMI structure for 18/24/36 months.

        • Given the interest in this bike I am sure some of you have scoured the realm of Youtube for anything you could find about it.

But by some small chance if you haven't seen this then...

            • here we go.....

finally test rode the cbr today @ vihaan honda thane...

              black color abs....

to start wid the quality, quality of the bike is awsum...
no issues wid the parts quality as seen earlier in the pics.

the review given by autocar and overdrive are apt..

but the bike lacks the adrenaline feeling dat u wud gt on a p220.just after the td i rode gaurav thakkars r15 wid a diff exhaust and the feeling which missed on the cbr was experienced....

i touched 100 in a short stretch and i didnt even feel i was riding at that speed..
abs braking system is a boon...

^abs....is for rear wheel...co-ordinates with front.

If you use only front brakes, then there's no play of ABS involved.

thats news to me !! most of the times , a rear wheel lock up is controllable but a front wheel lock up can be really hard to manage.
I was under the impression that abs controls both the front and rear wheel lock ?? how does abs make sense if it cant control the front wheel ???
                        Please clarify ..

Motoman's way for hard break-in sounds logical, but i read somewhere that it works if your bike is going to be used on race tracks.
On the other hand we have the "owner's manual" way to break-in the bike.

I guess many professional bikers out here on the forum can shed some light.

I found a document on the net, though it is about breaking-in aircraft engines, the basic principles are similar.
                          +1 correct

saw the bike.. gee cant wait.. and i will be getting my bike by may first week and i will have to take it for registration and i clearly told him not to touch my bike.. (reason"he knows me..")

the bike i saw was black and silver and wow.... it looks really nice..

Dude, ABS for rear wheel is one of the types of ABS, but not the only one. I am not sure what kind of ABS system CBR 250R is equipped with but most probably it would be two-channel, applicable on both front and rear wheel.

Locking the wheel and stoppie are two separate things.. I think the question of whether we can do a stoppie on ABS depends on the ABS software.. If it allows the front wheel to decelerate quickly enough, stoppie might be possible.
