Just now returned from the showroom, the bike is worth every penny we spend.was talking with the owner, he said the deliver is going to take another week and abs will take another ten days and another interesting fact is that there is more number of booking s in chennai than any other city.it's some where around 400+ !"if it is to be, it is up to me" dinnu67

Woa, that was fast... Artist at work. Well, the green did not turn out to be that eye-pleasing. The other white combo's were awesome.Originally posted by ASIF AHMED View Postu mean anything like these?
Thanks mate... And keep up the talent... Do bring on more creative ideas, coz we do need a paint job.
Ok how about this, people complaining this being a vfr250 n not cbr250... well any paint job that can make this beauty look more like cbr1000rr?
Maybe some tinkering with the HRC Scheme?
I somehow doubt that, even in one of our B'lore showroom, the next booking number would be 136. Now thats in one showroom... Imagine all over Bangalore.Originally posted by riderlegend View PostJust now returned from the showroom, the bike is worth every penny we spend.was talking with the owner, he said the deliver is going to take another week and abs will take another ten days and another interesting fact is that there is more number of booking s in chennai than any other city.it's some where around 400+ !
Er... On second thought, why am I even comparing this? God this shows my restlessness. I am so so so excited.Last edited by ajaymanohar; 04-22-2011, 01:36 PM.

My delivery will get pushed to July/August if Honda carry's on with this pathetic dispatch rates! Chennai dealer says there will be a delay in ABS unit deliveries! To be frank, Chennai got hell lot of bookings most of them seems like they are not at xBHP, Approx around 300~400 bookings all over Chennai it seems!
Btw, Display bike is now there at Didar Motor's, Thousand lights! And the BIKE IS HUGE! Really HUGE! The front number plate seems like has been welded. I dunno how people gonna remove that. And as usual, Saree guard suck's to the core!2011 - CBR 250R (RED, Delivered) - Happy Man! - SOLD
2014 - Royal Enfield - Classic 500 Desert Storm - Awaiting

Those pics are from a different cbr250 specific forum.. They also have posted a photoshop file which has all the panels and parts as different elements and their colour can be changed in seconds.. So you can just scroll through colours and see how the look on the cbr.. Would be cool if someone uploads it here.. I cant as away from pc and ON thru cellphone..Originally posted by ajaymanohar View PostWoa, that was fast... Artist at work. Well, the green did not turn out to be that eye-pleasing. I think its the Odometer to me. Thats a fair average. What you see is what you get. Anyway, journos need to rip it.Originally posted by aargee View PostIsn't that a trip meter? Atleast, that's how it looks to me. Or are you saying its ODO?"Never recreate from your memory, always imagine new places"

Wow! Thats awesome...Originally posted by pjchris View PostBlack CBR spotted in Basavanagudi Bangalore yesterday.
Every dealer has about 10 bikes in the first lot.. out of which only few are allotted to the bookings made under general category.
Also, 2 days back, my friends saw couple of bikes covered with that white cover near Marathahalli (Bangalore), near a Honda showroom... He said it looked like CBR, though he is not sure. He just told me today. Is there a showroom in Marathahalli? Anyone who is staying near please confirm...Sudeep P Nambiar

As many of us will be getting our CBR's, it would be a great topic for discussion.Originally posted by harryhunt7 View PostYes, I am also interested in this topic can someone point out a few methods online or already on xbhp. Also someone had earlier mentioned, He will be doing it the Motoman way. Has anyone tried this earlier?
Motoman's way for hard break-in sounds logical, but i read somewhere that it works if your bike is going to be used on race tracks.
On the other hand we have the "owner's manual" way to break-in the bike.
I guess many professional bikers out here on the forum can shed some light.
I found a document on the net, though it is about breaking-in aircraft engines, the basic principles are similar.30+ YEARS OF RIDING

i am researching on the same last few days.. Expert comments would be welcomed.. As of now, i am biased to the Motoman's way.. Wanna try it.. But still would be great if some experienced comments come in..Originally posted by Janesh.J View PostAs many of us will be getting our CBR's, it would be a great topic for discussion.
